20½: The half-way point between 16 and 25, therefore important at times.
% I) s* i. ^& Y6 A0 w22½ and 24: 22½ is 1/16 of a circle, 1/2 of 45. The reason why stocks often make % O' n. p) I9 `5 V+ y; Z$ j- _
top or bottom in the 23rd month is because the angle of 22½° comes ( P+ k# N* |) g( W) O$ _
out at this point.
( \% g# g F- f8 d/ y! u24 and 25: These are very important because 24 is twice 12 and 25 is the square ; b' m: p2 ?$ ?8 x' T5 u D
of 5 and 1/4 of 100.! S8 n! b6 y# a+ F
26: When you consider the square of 4, which is 16, and the even square
* }! x8 h4 e! w, I$ mof 6, which is 36, the half-way point between them is 26, which is
, A5 w/ a. O% }6 i. _sometimes an important resistance point for Time and Price.; p. k) f& L/ m
27 and 28: Important tops and bottoms often come out around 27 to 28 months,
& |/ I8 I7 ?2 }; M# @. T+ Uand major or minor campaigns end on this time period. The reason for
4 ?, n/ ]2 I: q. \' B8 ^$ ^' Gthis is that 4 times 7 is 28 and that 28 is 2-1/3 years. Three times 9 is 6 d: P. G' ?# s. _
27 and anything that comes out on multiples of 3 is very important,
. D5 K" z: Q" s8 p1 h2 ^4 R9 j+ Bbecause it is the first odd number that we can square, as the square of

30: Any half-way point or gravity centre is also important. Therefore, 30,

Because 30½ is the half-way point between 25, the square of 25, and , B" K# j$ Q" P( P6 Z
36, the square of 6, it makes this period important.
( |$ K+ \" ?3 B* |34 to 36: 33¾ is 3/4 of 45. You will recall that the bear campaign which ended
) r6 Q2 Q! C) w# y; t" Z5 Pin July, 1932, was 34 months from the 1929 top. It is always
: q% Q7 m# S* {7 F G8 l2 c0 e. `important to watch for changes in trend around the 34th to 36th " |8 \8 x2 m" p% Q: F2 r5 }) e
months. 36 being the square of 6 makes this a strong resistance point. 7 L4 q9 d" \8 v/ @! K/ ?# w. R1 [
Three times 12 or the end of the 3rd year is another reason for strong 5 M, G P# s" A! M
resistance at this point.
$ d9 E1 X; z: c" i( d T. t$ e39 and 40: 40 is a number referred to many times in the Bible. The children of 8 d; U2 r) v+ C/ u
Israel wandered 40 years in the wilderness. The food lasted 40 days.
. z% h+ A5 @- g' M1 N" I40 equals 3-1/3 years. 7/8 of 45 is 39-3/8. Forty is 1/9 of a circle. All ; u* s- g# G8 ]1 Q. n
of this makes these numbers important for time periods and resistance 4 }1 x' s: k5 @0 p5 N g0 _7 c
levels on price.8 ^& `3 P4 l+ G% X0 f; f/ j( H' W: r
42: is the next important number for resistance in Time and Price. It is 3½
* m. p) L' c: d1 Z! \" zyears of time or 1/2 of a 7-year cycle. Also, 42½ is the half-way point
% {% s- f* {& p/ B& l$ v9 Vbetween the square of 6 and the square of 7.
3 w6 I) p, D6 W7 m45: This is the master of all numbers because it contains all the digits from ' j4 A& w8 m: A/ w8 N3 u
1 to 9. The 45° angle divides the 90° angle in half, making it an
0 T" p a" D1 L Z" G+ ?important gravity centre. It is 1/8 of 360 and 5 times 9. Fast moves 7 _6 V2 K: ]& ^, j+ l* p; H4 p
up or down often occur in the 45th month. On any kind of chart that 5 [. U$ g; m: }6 z( u7 R( X4 a) u
you make up with squares, you will find that 45 will come out on the 7 d( ]( F/ D* D/ N) l n1 K9 s
45° angle or a 90° angle or an angle that is the equivalent of these 8 r% m8 q# X7 g1 v1 P# W
angles. Notice how 45 comes out on the square of 9, the square of 20 % p/ K4 o8 ]% F& e( }% c$ t6 @
and the square of 12, all proving that 45 is a Master Number. Use 45
0 C. H& h* Y) Q- Kin every way possible for measuring Price, Time, Space and Volume $ ?. d6 G5 e* g) H$ c- k
movements.; M" }. _% i7 r5 E, c9 t
48 and 49: are strong and important numbers for changes in trend. 49 is 7 times ; L4 U. W \: i5 V6 o8 N# v1 t
7, or the square of 7, and 48 is 4 times 12, or the end of the 4th year.
0 L" {3 [# Q* U8 F/ eOn a decline to 49 to 50, a stock often meets resistance and has a good
, M5 X* I% o2 c6 Hrally from this point. The same with a stock on an advance to around ( V8 P$ E# F- e5 v9 G4 k
49 to 50, meeting resistance around this point and reacting to 45
' y/ B) t0 L- n/ u( s4 H2 n Q" Z$ |anyway.
8 h6 V& W9 j7 e6 S* y, c p# E5 n50: is important because it is one-half of 100. If we add 5-5/8 to 45, we $ H' N! Z6 V1 s# D
get 50-5/8.# g8 O! E8 j# H7 ^
52: This number has some importance because there are 52 weeks in a ) @- d2 g4 R* W$ r8 g4 a( w
year and 51-7/8 is one-seventh of a circle of 360°. It is 4-1/3 years.
2 U0 [* B' Z* S4 k$ m52½ is the half-way point between 45 and 60, which makes this - a- r$ C3 U7 W
important to watch for resistance.' ?* h8 _! G$ W
56 and 57: These are very important because 56¼ is 45 plus 11¼ or the half-way 2 | M% u; S9 @7 q Y* Y
point between 45 and 67½. 56½ is the half-way point between 49 and
5 n" }5 r# q& \8 x64.
h: t6 w9 i/ K) Q. K' j j# t3 g60: This is one of the very important numbers to watch for resistance. It
q6 W2 m7 K. X) ?1 O, Pis an important time period because it equals 5 years in time or 1/2 of ) {* C1 k% J" H3 m
the 10-year cycle or 1/4 of a 20-year cycle. It is one of the most
% J6 q6 S1 S% K. z0 \0 Dimportant time periods after 45 to 49. 60 is 1/6 of the circle. Here
. `( v8 Z: n, P& V. |5 g$ [% }7 b; ^again we use the rule of 3, multiplying 20 by 3, we get 60. 60 is 1/3
$ I0 y" X0 R9 S9 P# ]+ j rof 180 and the halfway point between 45 and 75. Watch stocks that {5 r; g5 J* u# Y) \8 h
advance to around 60 or decline to around 60. If they hesitate several
2 B$ \/ B3 e. N6 rdays, weeks or months, you will know that they are meeting resistance
) z5 h3 x j! }# z1 A% s( |at this point and a reverse move will occur.9 I& T9 P+ ~! T8 m$ g0 w1 ^+ u; W
63 to 64: 62½ is 5/8 of 100. 63 is 7 times 9. 64 is the square of 8, and is 5-1/3 ' e; c5 o' A7 g5 o8 Z, a* C: M5 O
years, and the next important point to watch after 60.
; q) X/ _4 E3 m' j66 and 67: 66 is 5½ years or 5½ times 12. 67½ is 45 plus 22½ or 3/16 of a circle.6 A- U3 K$ l1 E- G
70 to 72: The number 70 is referred to many times in the Bible. It is three score / i% n- }9 l$ C! U6 y, P9 q
years and ten, the allotted span of the life of man. 70 is 7 times 10;
2 X1 }. ~1 q% f, J' R2 ^- ]& b3½ times the 20-year cycle. 72 is 6 years and 72½ is the halfway ' l# E* Z6 ?9 R, I
point between the square of 8 and the square of 9. 72 is 1/5 of 360. It
+ ^% _- [ t3 \$ p5 O2 p5 Q) cis also the square of 12 and a very important time period.$ g# s N7 f/ W0 n" O! r3 i
78 to 80: These are all important because 78-3/4 is 7/8 of 90; 80 is 4 times 20
7 D4 {1 S' f- O- c* wand twice 40. 80 equals 1/18 of 360° circle and is 4/5 of 100. The # T& F1 E& U4 {9 Z e" R
square of 9 is 81. Great resistance occurs around these price levels, " ?7 z" d9 l9 K3 T S* K
and the endings and beginnings of cycles take place around these
; W% t6 F9 y- j0 Fmonths as you will find by looking them up on your charts.
: Z: I9 I3 p3 b% l' f- y84 to 85: Strong resistance levels, because 84-3/8 is 15/16 of 90 and 84 is 7
5 P$ B! O& E5 btimes 12 and equals the 7-year cycle. At this point, the greatest 4 i- }' @/ |. S6 U/ d% o
resistance is met before a stock reaches the 90th month or a price of
, O" @, z: P" R5 T. C( h90. After it breaks under 90, it is the first important resistance level - q: W7 e3 s8 `7 i6 x: K: x; J6 }
below 90.
6 k0 \* V5 B6 t) x) }& k& j5 R, L$ l89 and 90: 90 is one of the strongest points of all because it equals a vertical
T( X. m& w& I" X7 fangle and represents 1/4 of the circle. 90½ is the half-way point
1 `$ Q: C2 H1 T9 h: \/ Lbetween 81 and 100, the square of 9 and the square of 10. In active
6 e' e4 P2 B0 Zmarkets, moves straight up and straight down occur when the 90th % o5 B6 @$ @- t' w0 E8 C
month, 90th week or 90th day is reached. The 90th month is the most
! `2 N4 V5 i* |% o% q; Iimportant, but the 90th week is also quite important. g/ _4 z, f% C+ q$ H
You should always watch the 89th month for tops and bottoms and 2 j/ E2 K! d6 `4 I7 B
important changes in trend. Many important campaigns begin and end
( o# S; [' X4 k3 `in the 89th month; some run to the 91st month. Note U.S. Steel
: e/ h; L; Y! d" S4 P$ rmonthly 1915 to 1916 and see what happened around the 89th to 90th
1 @' l v* B' g: nmonths.2 p4 D. X: K. x/ l
On the daily chart the change often comes on the 92nd to 93rd day, ! C0 f6 f) ^& h: [# J; f
but a movement often runs to around the 98th day before an important 1 V" ~: u( J2 T) }
change. It is important to watch this point on a daily chart.
! b {: g1 p9 |4 J7 F" {0 g5 {95 to 96: This is 8 times 12. 95-5/8 is 90 plus 5-5/8 and quite a strong 6 h5 } B6 N: Q9 w- c
resistance level for price and time changes. When an important time 0 ?0 ]4 K# R0 q& T f
period comes out on the 96th to 98th month, you will often find an
# C" P. d% H9 `6 i+ qimportant change in trend because this is 8 times 12 and starts the 9th ' F2 W3 F( h8 d m& Z
year. The 9th year is always important and marks the ending of $ J6 U7 k# \ m' U3 z
important campaigns with extreme high or low prices.
3 \8 h x0 v) I$ }8 L' i* fStocks often advance to 95 to 97 and fail to make 100; then they often 0 Z9 R$ [2 y$ V e) f
decline to 97 to 95 and meet strong support, rally and cross 100 again.) T6 u; J3 j3 L2 D" a
99 to 100: Important because 100 is the square of 10. 99 is 11 times 9. 100 is a
! c9 Q, t0 }7 j2 S0 B. N2 mpsychological number for the public to buy and sell, or to hope for " L' I8 n5 A* Q# d2 t$ \ Z& a
prices to reach. Stocks often go to 99 and fail to make 100 and often & V8 q5 X$ ~' A5 h% o* N
decline to 99 and then start up again.
) p" j# m; t$ J8 uStudy all of these important squares and gravity centers or half-way points and the
# I/ @* L; `9 w- rsquares of numbers above 12, as shown on the 360° Circle Chart. All of these ( b3 `8 Y2 S! @$ m: K0 }
mathematical points will help you to determine changes in trend and resistance ! I( d; {: L Q4 g
