! S4 }* b4 L! N2 j1 L15 and 16: The next important resistance point is 16, the square of 4. 15 is 1 {+ `- b" x3 l q3 J: {& s
important because it is 1¼ years.
% D/ B9 X6 E" w; p0 ?0 s18: An important number for resistance in Time and Price because it is
" R1 H# D; m3 f8 @1 itwice 9, 1½ times 12, 1/20th of a circle.
7 O5 H! S' N. j; k1 t20½: The half-way point between 16 and 25, therefore important at times.( T8 |) [# u0 V' p. @& M
22½ and 24: 22½ is 1/16 of a circle, 1/2 of 45. The reason why stocks often make
( f6 C, k6 ^* r4 s: a" o* m/ Dtop or bottom in the 23rd month is because the angle of 22½° comes V( o1 N( a4 n' n5 c7 v
out at this point./ t {9 _2 o1 w- L* z2 U
24 and 25: These are very important because 24 is twice 12 and 25 is the square
' f2 \) a0 `5 {4 qof 5 and 1/4 of 100.
+ H G: s! ~5 T, k! B. x26: When you consider the square of 4, which is 16, and the even square - I2 O' F" A; n3 p7 C% m
of 6, which is 36, the half-way point between them is 26, which is & F" J7 ^3 X7 B' F2 {+ V& s8 d1 v
sometimes an important resistance point for Time and Price.
% _2 _& n# z4 }$ R2 q27 and 28: Important tops and bottoms often come out around 27 to 28 months, - u8 M' E: s# W
and major or minor campaigns end on this time period. The reason for
; v+ T, s0 l+ J$ a" Sthis is that 4 times 7 is 28 and that 28 is 2-1/3 years. Three times 9 is / x: |+ y7 \- W$ ^, n8 s% t
27 and anything that comes out on multiples of 3 is very important, ; \# o0 g k" B6 h7 ^) G
because it is the first odd number that we can square, as the square of

, Z L i$ Y9 A F30: Any half-way point or gravity centre is also important. Therefore, 30, H0 ~1 W/ u4 g6 S- n
which is 2½ years, is an important time period for changes in trend. ! @. z7 s# u/ O, w9 {$ ? ^
Because 30½ is the half-way point between 25, the square of 25, and
. x6 ~8 O7 S0 ?. X36, the square of 6, it makes this period important.3 w4 O, t L' V4 N8 D( F+ a
34 to 36: 33¾ is 3/4 of 45. You will recall that the bear campaign which ended
; U5 t9 c3 G' E8 Z6 m/ Rin July, 1932, was 34 months from the 1929 top. It is always 5 z! `& h7 s0 }; o* p- Z- j
important to watch for changes in trend around the 34th to 36th ) f5 |( L' l7 I' X$ f
months. 36 being the square of 6 makes this a strong resistance point.
* `, z3 U2 M! Z; t$ V. n: [! fThree times 12 or the end of the 3rd year is another reason for strong ]- Y' ~% V: x/ h* o
resistance at this point.- Z2 f, d$ [2 K: G! O4 V) a% s
39 and 40: 40 is a number referred to many times in the Bible. The children of 1 ? H2 a0 B& D
Israel wandered 40 years in the wilderness. The food lasted 40 days. 3 D, v- i$ z+ \- T
40 equals 3-1/3 years. 7/8 of 45 is 39-3/8. Forty is 1/9 of a circle. All
5 |* Q6 a M- \2 z* qof this makes these numbers important for time periods and resistance
; i* [6 r- g/ glevels on price., ?3 P9 t2 I g T8 O% J
42: is the next important number for resistance in Time and Price. It is 3½ 1 e( t" a+ \% o1 A- B
years of time or 1/2 of a 7-year cycle. Also, 42½ is the half-way point + a! G; u4 ]7 g1 N! Q! Y
between the square of 6 and the square of 7.
) H% q; a: D: i2 h$ \/ D8 k: k45: This is the master of all numbers because it contains all the digits from
, p2 _% E4 u U; J/ \1 to 9. The 45° angle divides the 90° angle in half, making it an
! M" T$ Y" C0 I; \ D0 p) ^+ cimportant gravity centre. It is 1/8 of 360 and 5 times 9. Fast moves $ W/ i" [5 @' G+ g3 O- H* s
up or down often occur in the 45th month. On any kind of chart that 0 D8 U1 {$ w+ h9 q" B0 C/ ?: b
you make up with squares, you will find that 45 will come out on the 5 C# K- i; i& y* }- ^6 w& B
45° angle or a 90° angle or an angle that is the equivalent of these
; x1 W: H" I' l: Eangles. Notice how 45 comes out on the square of 9, the square of 20
5 h/ K; P7 G o$ m) W8 d6 Yand the square of 12, all proving that 45 is a Master Number. Use 45 + Y: D' A+ X' _# u4 p. v: j
in every way possible for measuring Price, Time, Space and Volume

48 and 49: are strong and important numbers for changes in trend. 49 is 7 times
) i6 p9 E3 |# s8 v' @7, or the square of 7, and 48 is 4 times 12, or the end of the 4th year. 5 b' o0 ^% H' z8 j: u5 U3 H
On a decline to 49 to 50, a stock often meets resistance and has a good 9 z* O/ p( e- s% ~1 ?
rally from this point. The same with a stock on an advance to around ' y0 f5 H; V5 @, j% f4 c
49 to 50, meeting resistance around this point and reacting to 45 9 V/ N8 F- n3 ?/ w/ I5 }* G$ [
anyway.0 G2 D+ U6 b; E
50: is important because it is one-half of 100. If we add 5-5/8 to 45, we

52: This number has some importance because there are 52 weeks in a
2 A/ } s% T8 \* e& y& b) Syear and 51-7/8 is one-seventh of a circle of 360°. It is 4-1/3 years. 9 r0 r( Q9 Q8 N+ m) i
52½ is the half-way point between 45 and 60, which makes this
8 ]7 p4 @5 a) w9 Kimportant to watch for resistance.5 f" N. ?4 J0 I7 ]" T4 V# x
56 and 57: These are very important because 56¼ is 45 plus 11¼ or the half-way 2 ]+ ]+ E- `7 N4 u
point between 45 and 67½. 56½ is the half-way point between 49 and : E" O4 C2 Y3 ^
64.
3 O: d. C1 `% J3 }60: This is one of the very important numbers to watch for resistance. It $ G1 M& ~; j( b+ p8 ~
is an important time period because it equals 5 years in time or 1/2 of & ? R- t) G5 ^! R0 B5 l/ X2 u
the 10-year cycle or 1/4 of a 20-year cycle. It is one of the most
, P' I( L/ Q, Y9 }important time periods after 45 to 49. 60 is 1/6 of the circle. Here
; h. q4 F" ^" ]" W/ cagain we use the rule of 3, multiplying 20 by 3, we get 60. 60 is 1/3 ; W6 ]/ D+ h* f: U* |- n/ S
of 180 and the halfway point between 45 and 75. Watch stocks that
" @3 f1 M+ d5 ]advance to around 60 or decline to around 60. If they hesitate several ' t; g8 h# @; t N B
days, weeks or months, you will know that they are meeting resistance $ v. p9 i# J- B" L
at this point and a reverse move will occur." P% R- o5 B, i+ \
63 to 64: 62½ is 5/8 of 100. 63 is 7 times 9. 64 is the square of 8, and is 5-1/3
, R& `# V$ W$ d# s8 {$ cyears, and the next important point to watch after 60.
* c' M: Q9 C+ m( j66 and 67: 66 is 5½ years or 5½ times 12. 67½ is 45 plus 22½ or 3/16 of a circle.9 T$ \7 H8 U* `8 Q8 }0 R1 ^' i
70 to 72: The number 70 is referred to many times in the Bible. It is three score 7 B4 d' w1 c9 Z- b6 N
years and ten, the allotted span of the life of man. 70 is 7 times 10; 8 p- z- H8 V# k7 ~' q
3½ times the 20-year cycle. 72 is 6 years and 72½ is the halfway 5 a- M! m4 F9 h* b- J2 C; _( H
point between the square of 8 and the square of 9. 72 is 1/5 of 360. It / o1 i+ T4 T+ m2 ~
is also the square of 12 and a very important time period.
: J) l& U4 a, m4 }! h78 to 80: These are all important because 78-3/4 is 7/8 of 90; 80 is 4 times 20
% t0 b) V$ T6 C* D7 Y* z7 P2 d6 Tand twice 40. 80 equals 1/18 of 360° circle and is 4/5 of 100. The 0 Z# B2 B, ]8 Z) e! n3 {: @
square of 9 is 81. Great resistance occurs around these price levels,
|. M) d+ M& i+ M [) g6 band the endings and beginnings of cycles take place around these $ r9 D+ f) M1 t- [+ L
months as you will find by looking them up on your charts.
/ F: g/ a1 V7 x( q) a84 to 85: Strong resistance levels, because 84-3/8 is 15/16 of 90 and 84 is 7 ! n' o) R. z( k( M a+ B; R. ]6 L
times 12 and equals the 7-year cycle. At this point, the greatest : q5 K# M) I6 T! @, }
resistance is met before a stock reaches the 90th month or a price of 3 S m% T" P3 k; r1 h* n: B
90. After it breaks under 90, it is the first important resistance level . Y' W4 `. e( ^8 Z% g% `% X0 m1 e
below 90.# G' M0 S8 z7 F8 N- M' ?
89 and 90: 90 is one of the strongest points of all because it equals a vertical
7 E4 ^! @- \5 C+ Gangle and represents 1/4 of the circle. 90½ is the half-way point
/ T) H5 k3 U& p$ tbetween 81 and 100, the square of 9 and the square of 10. In active
1 {/ k4 {. y3 b% A; j- h! {% k% M3 Umarkets, moves straight up and straight down occur when the 90th
6 |' x2 z" C- T7 W' A6 _month, 90th week or 90th day is reached. The 90th month is the most $ Z0 L2 x8 t2 o4 ^& p; g, k: h
important, but the 90th week is also quite important.1 U9 @9 x5 {- g. a( @+ u' {- p, [
You should always watch the 89th month for tops and bottoms and
, J1 d4 K, S& vimportant changes in trend. Many important campaigns begin and end * S0 z2 m1 O( M1 K3 P' g
in the 89th month; some run to the 91st month. Note U.S. Steel . r0 g f) N. q( T/ x
monthly 1915 to 1916 and see what happened around the 89th to 90th / E8 K; i' U# v; z
months.
0 k2 u6 \$ X% I5 o3 t' \% AOn the daily chart the change often comes on the 92nd to 93rd day, " { i& a! N+ {, p l6 B
but a movement often runs to around the 98th day before an important - }/ v* x3 L; |4 y6 r
change. It is important to watch this point on a daily chart.2 M* B- K# o7 g! L3 z
95 to 96: This is 8 times 12. 95-5/8 is 90 plus 5-5/8 and quite a strong 4 l* d4 A* c, m6 n% A! D' A
resistance level for price and time changes. When an important time

2 f( i+ U% b* aimportant change in trend because this is 8 times 12 and starts the 9th
8 \2 _- m+ [9 a# Cyear. The 9th year is always important and marks the ending of 3 u! U G3 K1 ^
important campaigns with extreme high or low prices.# L) J, a- ?6 l) t7 _* o/ f, \
Stocks often advance to 95 to 97 and fail to make 100; then they often ~/ k3 g. _1 D+ c9 S
decline to 97 to 95 and meet strong support, rally and cross 100 again.8 V# i( A: @4 l9 N" d' q% S
99 to 100: Important because 100 is the square of 10. 99 is 11 times 9. 100 is a
: M c E3 M, M8 ^( Y9 k% Upsychological number for the public to buy and sell, or to hope for * B7 N Y+ E% @: g: y3 Y6 L
prices to reach. Stocks often go to 99 and fail to make 100 and often 0 B7 _' q0 m+ K- s7 S
decline to 99 and then start up again.
/ h' y4 J7 S% T4 [; NStudy all of these important squares and gravity centers or half-way points and the
0 \/ G2 s5 w V) Msquares of numbers above 12, as shown on the 360° Circle Chart. All of these
