Local seismologist Ismael Narag said the quake generated enough potential power to unleash big waves, but added that the authorities did not think it was capable of triggering a tsunami so Phivolcs issued no warning. + I( u+ R* u& @/ p! H* K l7 x1 y
"It would have to be at least 6.5 magnitude to generate a tsunami," he said over local radio.
