important because it is 1¼ years.

" k% ]4 n. L2 D; k. Y$ ctwice 9, 1½ times 12, 1/20th of a circle.
& l$ ~3 y" j2 o0 E; u) x20½: The half-way point between 16 and 25, therefore important at times.
3 _& ^6 x+ ?) h5 g0 K! k5 w: j* i22½ and 24: 22½ is 1/16 of a circle, 1/2 of 45. The reason why stocks often make 0 g+ c# h C* P. a/ y
top or bottom in the 23rd month is because the angle of 22½° comes
/ a/ e/ H5 j+ C* l/ y/ A& cout at this point.
& B- U, j! w8 B2 w4 @24 and 25: These are very important because 24 is twice 12 and 25 is the square
* z1 N' x4 z3 U7 ?# kof 5 and 1/4 of 100.# g1 V+ r& }7 m
26: When you consider the square of 4, which is 16, and the even square
9 c9 l& H, e( ^& o8 p# fof 6, which is 36, the half-way point between them is 26, which is
4 J. \# \6 j$ F: jsometimes an important resistance point for Time and Price.) D, h+ ] T3 S4 u I% d
27 and 28: Important tops and bottoms often come out around 27 to 28 months, 4 y* M" @; Y: \' \) N8 O0 F
and major or minor campaigns end on this time period. The reason for 9 ^, U- B3 }- g) z
this is that 4 times 7 is 28 and that 28 is 2-1/3 years. Three times 9 is
' `' x& k f* ` f27 and anything that comes out on multiples of 3 is very important, 3 _* J% ^) q$ q" E+ W
because it is the first odd number that we can square, as the square of " N( r( r8 P1 o1 L+ \
1 is 1.# p5 K; l/ Q. T6 ?% t( |! U1 {7 s% _7 }
30: Any half-way point or gravity centre is also important. Therefore, 30, 6 l' C' `/ ^% a6 H
which is 2½ years, is an important time period for changes in trend.
- U; W* e8 y& v% Q0 |/ sBecause 30½ is the half-way point between 25, the square of 25, and / P1 h& c5 \9 ?; ~3 l1 P) q0 u
36, the square of 6, it makes this period important.
+ Z l! l0 o1 B34 to 36: 33¾ is 3/4 of 45. You will recall that the bear campaign which ended % @2 L: q$ `7 v, O3 _- m b
in July, 1932, was 34 months from the 1929 top. It is always
0 @+ N' }" G* j) x* Qimportant to watch for changes in trend around the 34th to 36th
& o0 o/ c( B4 t; m) v8 y. amonths. 36 being the square of 6 makes this a strong resistance point. : w0 `5 M# i- G3 ^. r
Three times 12 or the end of the 3rd year is another reason for strong
+ i6 j4 f d1 }' @9 Bresistance at this point.
7 }% G" c" s, R7 O$ Z' h39 and 40: 40 is a number referred to many times in the Bible. The children of , ^6 k, Y6 z c, l
Israel wandered 40 years in the wilderness. The food lasted 40 days.
* t& n6 r" ~. v2 q8 R- t" Q3 U# X40 equals 3-1/3 years. 7/8 of 45 is 39-3/8. Forty is 1/9 of a circle. All
" W7 [: ?# M0 v+ y, g2 f9 Oof this makes these numbers important for time periods and resistance
. L: W' G$ q( S+ [/ Y9 w$ Rlevels on price., ]" E% x: J5 z: l+ J" L
42: is the next important number for resistance in Time and Price. It is 3½ # l- ?' l; I/ {1 z( f# P- h
years of time or 1/2 of a 7-year cycle. Also, 42½ is the half-way point
) m0 j& |8 N' E- o: ]2 k, jbetween the square of 6 and the square of 7.4 u6 }" k5 q. E* y
45: This is the master of all numbers because it contains all the digits from
5 _9 {0 k1 G! \' [9 {1 to 9. The 45° angle divides the 90° angle in half, making it an v7 F8 O- G& i/ v, Q
important gravity centre. It is 1/8 of 360 and 5 times 9. Fast moves 8 M$ K0 [4 B, N% s5 o# c- \+ \* ]
up or down often occur in the 45th month. On any kind of chart that
% E' H* u5 V' T3 {( e/ i: h6 Y. oyou make up with squares, you will find that 45 will come out on the 7 x. J. a6 c/ o. p0 ~0 T
45° angle or a 90° angle or an angle that is the equivalent of these
: K3 T* S7 C- T# v! ]5 r( a% Wangles. Notice how 45 comes out on the square of 9, the square of 20
7 H1 q' N) E- Z8 _4 v8 H# yand the square of 12, all proving that 45 is a Master Number. Use 45
; v, j" \- ^3 k5 n/ i: Hin every way possible for measuring Price, Time, Space and Volume % M) r$ f5 a8 z4 [; N
movements.
* A* d; f) x( _$ C: |0 `$ w3 V48 and 49: are strong and important numbers for changes in trend. 49 is 7 times
6 {9 l0 }& U, g" n/ \! I7 n7, or the square of 7, and 48 is 4 times 12, or the end of the 4th year. 4 c' F" o( ]5 n2 o8 T$ \( F
On a decline to 49 to 50, a stock often meets resistance and has a good 4 `! X! m8 S+ y4 X3 O3 W* K
rally from this point. The same with a stock on an advance to around % S8 |/ `7 l7 y' Z5 P
49 to 50, meeting resistance around this point and reacting to 45 ! J8 p4 Q& {0 l+ t/ o- Y+ `
anyway.
8 g+ @4 S& O& ^. f& }50: is important because it is one-half of 100. If we add 5-5/8 to 45, we
$ L0 z* d, v" ^, k8 wget 50-5/8.
5 E/ E0 I/ m0 p) k52: This number has some importance because there are 52 weeks in a
. D: L$ r8 @8 L) U( Tyear and 51-7/8 is one-seventh of a circle of 360°. It is 4-1/3 years.
% ~. l9 f4 A+ [52½ is the half-way point between 45 and 60, which makes this
6 P" p' L4 f( ]/ ~$ r2 _important to watch for resistance.
/ Z! a7 N5 d% z: N' G56 and 57: These are very important because 56¼ is 45 plus 11¼ or the half-way 8 v4 O/ B- H! C/ ?; a
point between 45 and 67½. 56½ is the half-way point between 49 and ; V9 B/ P+ S4 _+ v4 f7 R- `

1 \3 [. V4 N; B/ B8 `, J6 ], P8 N60: This is one of the very important numbers to watch for resistance. It
- ?( x- o/ g6 a- I8 Tis an important time period because it equals 5 years in time or 1/2 of
7 d+ D- r" M6 \# Mthe 10-year cycle or 1/4 of a 20-year cycle. It is one of the most
N9 w. i" f( W6 {3 Zimportant time periods after 45 to 49. 60 is 1/6 of the circle. Here b; M& J1 s( f
again we use the rule of 3, multiplying 20 by 3, we get 60. 60 is 1/3 / {1 z9 r1 i% x' e
of 180 and the halfway point between 45 and 75. Watch stocks that
1 t) r" K% Y6 k5 m! w8 Jadvance to around 60 or decline to around 60. If they hesitate several 9 G4 _: B$ x3 R# V
days, weeks or months, you will know that they are meeting resistance
+ ]% P w3 v! s7 a) Cat this point and a reverse move will occur.) G( E& b- U6 F" p) C% \ I
63 to 64: 62½ is 5/8 of 100. 63 is 7 times 9. 64 is the square of 8, and is 5-1/3 2 `; o8 P3 w+ z) ~; V1 \
years, and the next important point to watch after 60.2 \, |2 g# x8 K
66 and 67: 66 is 5½ years or 5½ times 12. 67½ is 45 plus 22½ or 3/16 of a circle.
, z9 y; E! Y/ X) m: V2 s70 to 72: The number 70 is referred to many times in the Bible. It is three score / |! e% @; v6 h0 z& R
years and ten, the allotted span of the life of man. 70 is 7 times 10; ( [8 `% _+ g; d1 l$ L' o
3½ times the 20-year cycle. 72 is 6 years and 72½ is the halfway
' Z* _: {" S: q0 Mpoint between the square of 8 and the square of 9. 72 is 1/5 of 360. It
# e2 }2 G- O5 Y( W' Zis also the square of 12 and a very important time period. Y+ v$ P. {7 w3 a. y
78 to 80: These are all important because 78-3/4 is 7/8 of 90; 80 is 4 times 20 % n3 P( L5 X9 }$ U' E q0 A- i
and twice 40. 80 equals 1/18 of 360° circle and is 4/5 of 100. The * Q% z" H& C) d9 k( c
square of 9 is 81. Great resistance occurs around these price levels, 0 p8 ?/ W7 s1 p7 c! m1 q
and the endings and beginnings of cycles take place around these
+ ~; d" d# p4 C/ tmonths as you will find by looking them up on your charts.
+ Y) M+ z- @6 A! `5 m84 to 85: Strong resistance levels, because 84-3/8 is 15/16 of 90 and 84 is 7
( ]6 B3 ?( ~3 s4 w$ xtimes 12 and equals the 7-year cycle. At this point, the greatest 9 z& s4 \; c3 S0 Z
resistance is met before a stock reaches the 90th month or a price of
8 t+ d8 _4 k8 Z7 Z90. After it breaks under 90, it is the first important resistance level - j* q& \1 e# `9 H: Z( y$ z9 N
below 90.) u! X; y. T n
89 and 90: 90 is one of the strongest points of all because it equals a vertical + }1 Y$ q: l) [( o7 X9 J
angle and represents 1/4 of the circle. 90½ is the half-way point ! d: U0 f: l! ~. M* }6 Z, G
between 81 and 100, the square of 9 and the square of 10. In active
+ H8 j: U4 c8 N$ a2 smarkets, moves straight up and straight down occur when the 90th ) ]! T4 p( s: z+ l3 B% g7 ^% n7 n
month, 90th week or 90th day is reached. The 90th month is the most
. o' i$ k9 H) v( Y# R3 j* dimportant, but the 90th week is also quite important.
' n7 x4 k0 Q; t6 a% LYou should always watch the 89th month for tops and bottoms and 7 y2 o" R g" S7 o' A4 ?
important changes in trend. Many important campaigns begin and end
8 t# Z1 J. @7 N; s% nin the 89th month; some run to the 91st month. Note U.S. Steel 9 ]6 p1 R: R Z9 M8 [# }
monthly 1915 to 1916 and see what happened around the 89th to 90th . U' o5 z d% R) C3 x3 `% I. @

" V4 R8 g+ ^ K) `On the daily chart the change often comes on the 92nd to 93rd day,
; }, I- W M8 K7 _3 bbut a movement often runs to around the 98th day before an important
3 O& J6 E! H4 n. w* Hchange. It is important to watch this point on a daily chart.
/ ]; H3 y: o! S0 Z7 L8 v: g1 z95 to 96: This is 8 times 12. 95-5/8 is 90 plus 5-5/8 and quite a strong
; c* m0 X7 C7 \/ s4 Oresistance level for price and time changes. When an important time ; _9 L$ b' O* ?! c/ N6 r
period comes out on the 96th to 98th month, you will often find an 5 C5 T* _) s$ v4 H! q7 z
important change in trend because this is 8 times 12 and starts the 9th
& T( P% P' i! p. S: }# }8 }year. The 9th year is always important and marks the ending of
2 M' L; z# F' q7 Y0 p- B* p4 mimportant campaigns with extreme high or low prices." a# ~! m! K, K& x" [; `( n% ?
Stocks often advance to 95 to 97 and fail to make 100; then they often
6 t% K3 ]- \& _$ g. \7 [) [% y" a) Odecline to 97 to 95 and meet strong support, rally and cross 100 again.
8 ?) ~$ z8 A/ D9 ?& j% B1 O99 to 100: Important because 100 is the square of 10. 99 is 11 times 9. 100 is a 4 s$ {5 X; O; i
psychological number for the public to buy and sell, or to hope for $ j8 b8 s3 d' _3 h8 c" j
prices to reach. Stocks often go to 99 and fail to make 100 and often
$ B% A4 U: R; d( `1 X% Wdecline to 99 and then start up again.
! @7 V% [; U1 V& L/ u+ S0 |6 fStudy all of these important squares and gravity centers or half-way points and the 1 ]! R3 R6 \+ j6 W2 e% J; c( s
squares of numbers above 12, as shown on the 360° Circle Chart. All of these
