important because it is 1¼ years.

twice 9, 1½ times 12, 1/20th of a circle.# D9 x7 p! ~1 A/ _* z1 M. a0 o
20½: The half-way point between 16 and 25, therefore important at times.
5 U5 ^3 t1 Z3 ~7 L22½ and 24: 22½ is 1/16 of a circle, 1/2 of 45. The reason why stocks often make
( ]4 a& M" ]% h( r$ Qtop or bottom in the 23rd month is because the angle of 22½° comes
0 H3 v4 v( w- O2 kout at this point.
) o2 m! ]: i& v- B$ w$ i% j24 and 25: These are very important because 24 is twice 12 and 25 is the square

% ]. h% r) b' d) R26: When you consider the square of 4, which is 16, and the even square # Z' K$ c+ [4 K% Q; ?
of 6, which is 36, the half-way point between them is 26, which is
* W/ Q0 R+ N `sometimes an important resistance point for Time and Price.
1 P1 D; b/ y D$ z0 g9 Z& p27 and 28: Important tops and bottoms often come out around 27 to 28 months,
- t# w% M( i7 E/ Qand major or minor campaigns end on this time period. The reason for
0 B) P9 p/ I; O% B4 Zthis is that 4 times 7 is 28 and that 28 is 2-1/3 years. Three times 9 is
5 \" \' ^; N6 {1 J9 a27 and anything that comes out on multiples of 3 is very important,
T$ F/ [: u- N& t: wbecause it is the first odd number that we can square, as the square of
5 E" D9 r9 D. `( l9 ]6 e$ _7 l1 is 1.' p, S- U& L8 n0 Q; y
30: Any half-way point or gravity centre is also important. Therefore, 30,
. q+ i" K4 m. Y$ r2 Owhich is 2½ years, is an important time period for changes in trend.
: L) _' p6 M% X0 wBecause 30½ is the half-way point between 25, the square of 25, and
; R8 `6 f) G2 `4 }' {36, the square of 6, it makes this period important.
4 m' D, a' @7 ]6 {5 u& K34 to 36: 33¾ is 3/4 of 45. You will recall that the bear campaign which ended
8 n0 q0 i" U z$ P+ B* B% O) }in July, 1932, was 34 months from the 1929 top. It is always
+ b. ?; \* A# c/ ^9 q7 n' ~important to watch for changes in trend around the 34th to 36th . V. N8 H0 x" a1 K. K
months. 36 being the square of 6 makes this a strong resistance point.
3 K! x& j7 w9 J2 t* Z0 bThree times 12 or the end of the 3rd year is another reason for strong & W# i% ^9 F6 G1 U" D
resistance at this point.
3 @0 j, f- o6 C) {6 e9 z39 and 40: 40 is a number referred to many times in the Bible. The children of
$ y9 g/ A* p: j% R4 v3 k; ~, eIsrael wandered 40 years in the wilderness. The food lasted 40 days.
i, q+ \7 g! s! k40 equals 3-1/3 years. 7/8 of 45 is 39-3/8. Forty is 1/9 of a circle. All 7 M. X5 H3 c6 k1 o: i
of this makes these numbers important for time periods and resistance 6 ` P: T$ w, J: B% K$ c
levels on price.0 Q. Z0 i" w8 h; C- S
42: is the next important number for resistance in Time and Price. It is 3½ " S9 N. y/ e5 p2 i: d% d
years of time or 1/2 of a 7-year cycle. Also, 42½ is the half-way point
( u9 h- ?6 m0 }6 T4 _! ^between the square of 6 and the square of 7.' Q. {* F$ ?" l1 L
45: This is the master of all numbers because it contains all the digits from
. L5 L0 C% Z; m( D. y( Z1 to 9. The 45° angle divides the 90° angle in half, making it an ! b) f% B b# S% i( u% k3 J O) J
important gravity centre. It is 1/8 of 360 and 5 times 9. Fast moves 5 j$ O% Y. s: O& p$ h+ |9 z
up or down often occur in the 45th month. On any kind of chart that * i- H7 _1 h2 X* S' `8 c
you make up with squares, you will find that 45 will come out on the
9 S6 U4 j. ~& C8 G+ R' f45° angle or a 90° angle or an angle that is the equivalent of these
/ j- f) n/ [/ A! y9 [/ L5 Aangles. Notice how 45 comes out on the square of 9, the square of 20
* P; m* L4 t" O: w: Qand the square of 12, all proving that 45 is a Master Number. Use 45 ! J) H+ H! J M0 i+ |& F
in every way possible for measuring Price, Time, Space and Volume
/ Q. B$ w$ c2 Tmovements.
' K7 J" C0 J. \ |+ A' Z+ c48 and 49: are strong and important numbers for changes in trend. 49 is 7 times
8 Q U; p w! o* O+ n- S+ ^8 ^1 K7, or the square of 7, and 48 is 4 times 12, or the end of the 4th year.
$ d) `, e$ O& n/ o3 Q$ p' m2 hOn a decline to 49 to 50, a stock often meets resistance and has a good
q4 s4 k* ]3 V nrally from this point. The same with a stock on an advance to around
8 k u( n: I' \: ]+ U( g49 to 50, meeting resistance around this point and reacting to 45 $ j, U( J7 N0 o% L( }8 |" {
anyway.
6 q" k s& _$ w/ I50: is important because it is one-half of 100. If we add 5-5/8 to 45, we 8 {& e6 g; Q" q- ?$ z/ P
get 50-5/8.
* Y! ?+ @% {/ N6 Z% P2 f, z52: This number has some importance because there are 52 weeks in a
i) Q3 m6 |7 V: Ayear and 51-7/8 is one-seventh of a circle of 360°. It is 4-1/3 years.
; ]% V; ]% `* }52½ is the half-way point between 45 and 60, which makes this
; B# D, K9 \. t: h' [7 }) ]important to watch for resistance.
8 C$ U. f6 _2 P c8 l0 \8 `0 V56 and 57: These are very important because 56¼ is 45 plus 11¼ or the half-way
4 G- @9 D6 O% Y' Dpoint between 45 and 67½. 56½ is the half-way point between 49 and # [5 @5 ~) M: R2 z. y

; @) q7 _0 [8 _1 D M% ]60: This is one of the very important numbers to watch for resistance. It
- d' L" k- J( E- D% L/ h$ r# ris an important time period because it equals 5 years in time or 1/2 of ! x, |% Q: m, _7 d0 P7 S
the 10-year cycle or 1/4 of a 20-year cycle. It is one of the most & w2 R( W9 p2 E
important time periods after 45 to 49. 60 is 1/6 of the circle. Here
+ M1 e3 X! _2 I8 }$ n3 `. O9 c4 Jagain we use the rule of 3, multiplying 20 by 3, we get 60. 60 is 1/3 ; \5 n/ \" h# J. O- s- [
of 180 and the halfway point between 45 and 75. Watch stocks that
! e) k& M3 G/ R5 O$ J. Tadvance to around 60 or decline to around 60. If they hesitate several 5 j& X% \, U: ^6 `
days, weeks or months, you will know that they are meeting resistance
4 P8 M1 `2 P1 ]; g" r0 aat this point and a reverse move will occur.8 n# ?' u. U: O: d( N, A Q
63 to 64: 62½ is 5/8 of 100. 63 is 7 times 9. 64 is the square of 8, and is 5-1/3
6 X, r* I+ b8 fyears, and the next important point to watch after 60.
2 J+ z; Z0 N1 g5 Y! H( t& G66 and 67: 66 is 5½ years or 5½ times 12. 67½ is 45 plus 22½ or 3/16 of a circle. R4 f: i8 @; t& l- v
70 to 72: The number 70 is referred to many times in the Bible. It is three score
9 R0 h1 L; `% P" Z5 Cyears and ten, the allotted span of the life of man. 70 is 7 times 10;
8 v' i0 W) A8 ]2 Z. J" _3½ times the 20-year cycle. 72 is 6 years and 72½ is the halfway % R) P/ d% |, W* h+ }5 o0 Q
point between the square of 8 and the square of 9. 72 is 1/5 of 360. It 1 _6 |! l+ Y1 c0 \9 m9 J$ m
is also the square of 12 and a very important time period.$ Q) N: n' r+ ]7 }$ @5 S
78 to 80: These are all important because 78-3/4 is 7/8 of 90; 80 is 4 times 20
! U" S |# L% l& P& ]and twice 40. 80 equals 1/18 of 360° circle and is 4/5 of 100. The
+ ?# b I6 {0 w$ f" Rsquare of 9 is 81. Great resistance occurs around these price levels, 9 n% N' t5 E( Z9 q' B, H
and the endings and beginnings of cycles take place around these 0 \; U2 Q/ K$ K9 g1 o5 {
months as you will find by looking them up on your charts.
9 G; k. i, t- |0 f3 [; A8 j84 to 85: Strong resistance levels, because 84-3/8 is 15/16 of 90 and 84 is 7
( A- `4 o& \3 u( b! |( wtimes 12 and equals the 7-year cycle. At this point, the greatest
1 o- Y0 H O/ \4 y0 ~8 j$ [& B# x [resistance is met before a stock reaches the 90th month or a price of
# P) q& X: a7 w+ x ~/ o6 L3 M90. After it breaks under 90, it is the first important resistance level
! Y% L; b/ o! K' H6 u5 z" s: @6 u9 a0 Abelow 90.9 B" N# Z3 L# y B& E+ B" t1 m
89 and 90: 90 is one of the strongest points of all because it equals a vertical # l* X; P% B: p/ u" j
angle and represents 1/4 of the circle. 90½ is the half-way point
5 [6 b" [6 d( A; Wbetween 81 and 100, the square of 9 and the square of 10. In active 1 c" V; `+ A( K4 {5 m
markets, moves straight up and straight down occur when the 90th
6 `4 f, q! C4 e- e+ }% b# `1 mmonth, 90th week or 90th day is reached. The 90th month is the most $ F( E. ~% I) P7 ?. J1 U% j
important, but the 90th week is also quite important.
1 z8 ^; {' B. p9 D0 g7 ~You should always watch the 89th month for tops and bottoms and ) H/ A! {8 m: S/ x; U' m
important changes in trend. Many important campaigns begin and end 6 h5 @8 o w6 P% Y
in the 89th month; some run to the 91st month. Note U.S. Steel
( y% a: n- ~. U: z4 {monthly 1915 to 1916 and see what happened around the 89th to 90th 1 Y, M' i b% ]* Q5 ]
months.
$ n( H F( q6 p/ q9 G' uOn the daily chart the change often comes on the 92nd to 93rd day,
/ M/ k; u2 z, e- Y, Y+ U: y+ Abut a movement often runs to around the 98th day before an important
+ a& n0 d, Z6 A6 lchange. It is important to watch this point on a daily chart.
" ~2 F! Z2 a& w8 |95 to 96: This is 8 times 12. 95-5/8 is 90 plus 5-5/8 and quite a strong
+ z5 C8 S3 R W. N) Mresistance level for price and time changes. When an important time % }0 s9 P# E3 v+ ]4 h7 |: w4 w
period comes out on the 96th to 98th month, you will often find an
0 N4 r+ w0 y t# g* [4 ^$ z2 Mimportant change in trend because this is 8 times 12 and starts the 9th 3 k3 b7 U- e8 b R
year. The 9th year is always important and marks the ending of
/ ~5 b+ P: C( wimportant campaigns with extreme high or low prices.
6 u& P3 U' P& _# X2 |' T0 y" vStocks often advance to 95 to 97 and fail to make 100; then they often + W" u0 a# Y1 `, J$ v
decline to 97 to 95 and meet strong support, rally and cross 100 again.8 Y$ }+ N6 y2 p8 S
99 to 100: Important because 100 is the square of 10. 99 is 11 times 9. 100 is a
7 s2 k6 H% A3 r; B! P2 Lpsychological number for the public to buy and sell, or to hope for
: a+ o' k' J" f; n# \4 X( C+ uprices to reach. Stocks often go to 99 and fail to make 100 and often
- C% ]) s. D' R& k& J! G0 Gdecline to 99 and then start up again.
0 t" {2 `; U7 x$ bStudy all of these important squares and gravity centers or half-way points and the 3 G. i7 C0 r8 C3 X
squares of numbers above 12, as shown on the 360° Circle Chart. All of these h7 D4 s' A, Q |1 N& X
mathematical points will help you to determine changes in trend and resistance 7 z( }3 a2 x0 ^9 d+ Z6 [7 |
