15 and 16: The next important resistance point is 16, the square of 4. 15 is

twice 9, 1½ times 12, 1/20th of a circle.

22½ and 24: 22½ is 1/16 of a circle, 1/2 of 45. The reason why stocks often make 6 F# J2 r- q/ o
top or bottom in the 23rd month is because the angle of 22½° comes ; K* D+ s; O0 U- t8 a* K9 J) ^
out at this point.0 L) \1 S5 W9 J/ x* K7 Z
24 and 25: These are very important because 24 is twice 12 and 25 is the square

26: When you consider the square of 4, which is 16, and the even square 3 _( y. I7 P. l; Z3 P/ G
of 6, which is 36, the half-way point between them is 26, which is
% o$ N& d; f+ U/ p! q- y/ ~( lsometimes an important resistance point for Time and Price.4 p1 y- f$ \( g: X8 T
27 and 28: Important tops and bottoms often come out around 27 to 28 months,
- a3 x( y8 f9 g! z L0 e) dand major or minor campaigns end on this time period. The reason for
! ]! M9 Y8 p! _, ^this is that 4 times 7 is 28 and that 28 is 2-1/3 years. Three times 9 is
! ~; X, z" f& B27 and anything that comes out on multiples of 3 is very important, " ^ t0 X' C% G5 X! @
because it is the first odd number that we can square, as the square of 7 A2 n2 h, r% I4 E5 v- l$ ?; E
1 is 1.
; i# U. c% E* _. y: l9 R30: Any half-way point or gravity centre is also important. Therefore, 30,
$ H, y5 W9 |- n" L& ^0 h% Swhich is 2½ years, is an important time period for changes in trend.
" ~$ {! J% N2 \" I- Q& GBecause 30½ is the half-way point between 25, the square of 25, and " ?# O3 v, L( a( D

34 to 36: 33¾ is 3/4 of 45. You will recall that the bear campaign which ended

months. 36 being the square of 6 makes this a strong resistance point.
& e2 { y H m. C6 U$ a1 b* BThree times 12 or the end of the 3rd year is another reason for strong

39 and 40: 40 is a number referred to many times in the Bible. The children of
( r% \9 R8 M" }7 x* V+ a$ tIsrael wandered 40 years in the wilderness. The food lasted 40 days.
$ o" x3 T. ?& K8 i: W% D40 equals 3-1/3 years. 7/8 of 45 is 39-3/8. Forty is 1/9 of a circle. All 5 D w1 u. I. V: |* M
of this makes these numbers important for time periods and resistance . o. N9 \) G# I7 N/ ]: M/ X
levels on price.
8 R1 v2 v! n% c2 ?3 j) w7 p42: is the next important number for resistance in Time and Price. It is 3½ % v5 k) S" z0 A1 ^9 D; l, s
years of time or 1/2 of a 7-year cycle. Also, 42½ is the half-way point
* ?" o6 `$ _( Ybetween the square of 6 and the square of 7.' C" A$ G# }- @" |( x2 a& J
45: This is the master of all numbers because it contains all the digits from 3 ?9 ]+ m, e" L4 r: k4 x
1 to 9. The 45° angle divides the 90° angle in half, making it an 1 I9 X. u1 O3 Z, M9 ~* K7 W
important gravity centre. It is 1/8 of 360 and 5 times 9. Fast moves
; h/ Q& [4 C8 t Kup or down often occur in the 45th month. On any kind of chart that
" O% s* ]( k0 M/ c* uyou make up with squares, you will find that 45 will come out on the
8 q1 Y ?+ x" J" x' V O; T; H45° angle or a 90° angle or an angle that is the equivalent of these 8 D+ s, _, I: R, ~0 o
angles. Notice how 45 comes out on the square of 9, the square of 20 $ s7 ~* o# ]4 i% n+ P( q: H* z
and the square of 12, all proving that 45 is a Master Number. Use 45
9 ]# v' H) }8 Rin every way possible for measuring Price, Time, Space and Volume
2 n- @+ i) I# G+ M' X E9 Z: ymovements.' I3 N0 C) h, E+ [ K
48 and 49: are strong and important numbers for changes in trend. 49 is 7 times
! {: j) j( @$ d7 H( m9 m7, or the square of 7, and 48 is 4 times 12, or the end of the 4th year.
. R9 {3 G0 V7 A" S: Q+ v0 GOn a decline to 49 to 50, a stock often meets resistance and has a good
3 q3 X1 `3 w4 p* r5 a) w' Srally from this point. The same with a stock on an advance to around ; x4 n, O% v: w, A
49 to 50, meeting resistance around this point and reacting to 45
* P ?& ^" S5 ?+ L0 Z( ]anyway.
! K3 S. x; u! c* ~: p2 V50: is important because it is one-half of 100. If we add 5-5/8 to 45, we 0 @% }. G( J, Q7 t/ U" S
get 50-5/8.
/ ]5 V* A k) p3 Y( a52: This number has some importance because there are 52 weeks in a 3 _. }6 ^! L% N% L- r, X+ {
year and 51-7/8 is one-seventh of a circle of 360°. It is 4-1/3 years. / N2 |! I$ v* Q; A. n! O
52½ is the half-way point between 45 and 60, which makes this ( B2 m# n$ d) x0 J9 b
important to watch for resistance.% O% x1 b6 w U% q
56 and 57: These are very important because 56¼ is 45 plus 11¼ or the half-way , P) K# P+ J3 f8 N
point between 45 and 67½. 56½ is the half-way point between 49 and ) i2 t$ W3 ]2 m! [3 G8 |

Q1 T' z4 ^ @6 O7 V0 _60: This is one of the very important numbers to watch for resistance. It
7 }/ T3 S3 g2 M. D; Kis an important time period because it equals 5 years in time or 1/2 of 5 F: U+ D4 m1 ?% }
the 10-year cycle or 1/4 of a 20-year cycle. It is one of the most
8 j- r/ R9 c0 [important time periods after 45 to 49. 60 is 1/6 of the circle. Here % c, l8 i! ~# j9 R. ^, i
again we use the rule of 3, multiplying 20 by 3, we get 60. 60 is 1/3 4 z# n- y M7 b0 @: V! J2 t8 v$ v8 b
of 180 and the halfway point between 45 and 75. Watch stocks that
! m& e2 W# N/ }advance to around 60 or decline to around 60. If they hesitate several 0 @ d, C4 ~5 f2 N$ p8 K8 ^ A$ {
days, weeks or months, you will know that they are meeting resistance
6 D" K2 S1 J! k8 N, r5 z% Q( Wat this point and a reverse move will occur.
5 z* l) J! S9 K) @4 }) z/ p63 to 64: 62½ is 5/8 of 100. 63 is 7 times 9. 64 is the square of 8, and is 5-1/3 $ s( m0 E: |6 P/ d9 M! w2 |
years, and the next important point to watch after 60.
3 A/ g9 J4 Y. V: n4 S ]66 and 67: 66 is 5½ years or 5½ times 12. 67½ is 45 plus 22½ or 3/16 of a circle.
& R2 x$ M- L/ R70 to 72: The number 70 is referred to many times in the Bible. It is three score
' e$ e& I1 b, B$ I" ]0 ?- c. ] h2 {years and ten, the allotted span of the life of man. 70 is 7 times 10; 9 f' v* b( d. v) M( K
3½ times the 20-year cycle. 72 is 6 years and 72½ is the halfway
, ~/ C0 x4 ?( s L: w7 s. i+ c. M$ J/ Ppoint between the square of 8 and the square of 9. 72 is 1/5 of 360. It 7 d, L% L" Z2 H6 |+ ^( X O
is also the square of 12 and a very important time period.

square of 9 is 81. Great resistance occurs around these price levels, ; O2 r: Z1 ^! B/ d8 B. N9 a
and the endings and beginnings of cycles take place around these
9 A- q% R/ d3 ~ y' i0 Wmonths as you will find by looking them up on your charts.
- I; P M7 D4 \+ N6 a/ p84 to 85: Strong resistance levels, because 84-3/8 is 15/16 of 90 and 84 is 7 ' p" W+ K, z8 u4 R) e
times 12 and equals the 7-year cycle. At this point, the greatest
* }( S% l/ k. G1 P4 m# rresistance is met before a stock reaches the 90th month or a price of % P' M& C( e# k# w; }2 l# M
90. After it breaks under 90, it is the first important resistance level
8 u9 _/ y- v' ^7 v: @7 |6 c }below 90., m$ J+ ^! F% D3 b
89 and 90: 90 is one of the strongest points of all because it equals a vertical ! e. E4 \% x" [$ w
angle and represents 1/4 of the circle. 90½ is the half-way point + l7 m7 p0 N; q* g) C
between 81 and 100, the square of 9 and the square of 10. In active
2 t" O2 @9 U$ dmarkets, moves straight up and straight down occur when the 90th % ^+ x- Z* Y5 b0 A$ Q6 L, c, A+ T
month, 90th week or 90th day is reached. The 90th month is the most
. u% V ^$ T* Aimportant, but the 90th week is also quite important.& i! k* Q5 C0 Z$ f. [
You should always watch the 89th month for tops and bottoms and # e1 W4 \1 Z7 M1 T5 X1 j0 o6 z; O' i
important changes in trend. Many important campaigns begin and end
! [" }# w9 n" G5 [* S) C O* @in the 89th month; some run to the 91st month. Note U.S. Steel ) L$ _! J* O; d' k; u
monthly 1915 to 1916 and see what happened around the 89th to 90th , i: {/ a" c' T% x' `
months.% F# L+ o# G) g. I( q) u
On the daily chart the change often comes on the 92nd to 93rd day, + O# i& A" w) V7 t
but a movement often runs to around the 98th day before an important ' `* L5 C; L1 U2 t
change. It is important to watch this point on a daily chart.5 K. g/ A5 L2 [
95 to 96: This is 8 times 12. 95-5/8 is 90 plus 5-5/8 and quite a strong 7 i; h: E/ }5 W9 Y# L0 A! K/ N
resistance level for price and time changes. When an important time
G( b2 Q" n* S! S& ]6 F; speriod comes out on the 96th to 98th month, you will often find an + ]* ^ i1 F+ H; }
important change in trend because this is 8 times 12 and starts the 9th 2 @+ x w2 t! ]5 [% Q: o# P
year. The 9th year is always important and marks the ending of ; x8 ?" @0 D$ |* b2 t4 R
important campaigns with extreme high or low prices.
9 g3 t2 J8 b' W) H W- @6 h4 YStocks often advance to 95 to 97 and fail to make 100; then they often
5 s* ?; Y$ k' u. G$ C( ?+ j$ adecline to 97 to 95 and meet strong support, rally and cross 100 again.4 _& W( H- p1 e& o% O: h, Q0 M" t$ ^
99 to 100: Important because 100 is the square of 10. 99 is 11 times 9. 100 is a
, c# ^& ~9 s# D9 [) U* J9 a+ Opsychological number for the public to buy and sell, or to hope for ! H% l: t$ E' g( w. t+ _* R# _3 U
prices to reach. Stocks often go to 99 and fail to make 100 and often ) k& k- n0 `& r
decline to 99 and then start up again.
. _6 Q- ?' S* X: G# v( nStudy all of these important squares and gravity centers or half-way points and the
8 L6 i: Z8 @1 ^4 x" `3 t$ bsquares of numbers above 12, as shown on the 360° Circle Chart. All of these 8 _3 _3 s, Z7 m3 f) C+ N
mathematical points will help you to determine changes in trend and resistance 3 U3 Y$ y( E+ n9 i# a3 [, y
points.
