15 and 16: The next important resistance point is 16, the square of 4. 15 is ! v2 j+ y$ m0 ^

18: An important number for resistance in Time and Price because it is
" {( v. `- I- |7 C6 gtwice 9, 1½ times 12, 1/20th of a circle.
% j! \) E' [( o9 R2 K6 r20½: The half-way point between 16 and 25, therefore important at times.% v+ `/ Q9 t- u
22½ and 24: 22½ is 1/16 of a circle, 1/2 of 45. The reason why stocks often make
. _1 v1 v% r! M+ q& Z# ^- J& E4 H! stop or bottom in the 23rd month is because the angle of 22½° comes

, d1 D" ?, ?/ @0 s& b3 |24 and 25: These are very important because 24 is twice 12 and 25 is the square ! ~' ]: d& O8 [
of 5 and 1/4 of 100.
4 l( B5 e9 g3 |! _5 _) ~% s- x4 p26: When you consider the square of 4, which is 16, and the even square # d$ ]+ m1 o# E; \! q7 l$ Q
of 6, which is 36, the half-way point between them is 26, which is 6 F* D# H& ~9 J# s
sometimes an important resistance point for Time and Price.
. @: \ Z+ A' S) N27 and 28: Important tops and bottoms often come out around 27 to 28 months,
" x0 i4 `$ E9 U& t5 _and major or minor campaigns end on this time period. The reason for 8 w' G! \$ s. B. b
this is that 4 times 7 is 28 and that 28 is 2-1/3 years. Three times 9 is 8 s+ r2 G: K' r: |
27 and anything that comes out on multiples of 3 is very important, & D; y, e9 r9 g+ }4 G/ d
because it is the first odd number that we can square, as the square of / K& W7 a# m) n
1 is 1.
; A# E B, t/ ?( W2 t) L30: Any half-way point or gravity centre is also important. Therefore, 30,
, b6 V. H, I0 r0 h$ Ewhich is 2½ years, is an important time period for changes in trend. * {( D' Z4 o) x/ F* l( E
Because 30½ is the half-way point between 25, the square of 25, and 5 b, Z+ z% I& ~
36, the square of 6, it makes this period important.
6 f2 v8 _3 q: `34 to 36: 33¾ is 3/4 of 45. You will recall that the bear campaign which ended
8 {; B; b7 c8 T/ i6 s% a+ @in July, 1932, was 34 months from the 1929 top. It is always ; j6 ?! m4 W# t$ b5 |
important to watch for changes in trend around the 34th to 36th 4 y o: @; Y2 B& ~+ H2 U
months. 36 being the square of 6 makes this a strong resistance point. 6 f$ {3 |, M3 o
Three times 12 or the end of the 3rd year is another reason for strong 0 `) A! h ~) N) l6 ^' N( ]- k& [
resistance at this point.
# h4 k8 i( e3 m9 R$ u% j39 and 40: 40 is a number referred to many times in the Bible. The children of # Q" u+ a( K" f8 \3 k8 _
Israel wandered 40 years in the wilderness. The food lasted 40 days.
$ P- G( V, `" \% `* q+ u6 {9 E40 equals 3-1/3 years. 7/8 of 45 is 39-3/8. Forty is 1/9 of a circle. All 3 Z8 j- n: I8 v+ Q( F! w' ]) K$ B
of this makes these numbers important for time periods and resistance 1 H! O) i! M+ w; F! U3 x
levels on price.4 Q; q6 M/ v; Y" O# ]
42: is the next important number for resistance in Time and Price. It is 3½ 9 @ g1 s/ C' i g9 J. u
years of time or 1/2 of a 7-year cycle. Also, 42½ is the half-way point
& h' Z1 E. _5 _6 u. G% g9 Kbetween the square of 6 and the square of 7.1 x- b" i6 K7 {: r2 g E# @
45: This is the master of all numbers because it contains all the digits from . v6 b8 o+ |6 |/ c2 k( O
1 to 9. The 45° angle divides the 90° angle in half, making it an
2 C) Z( O: J9 \( P* w7 A2 \7 himportant gravity centre. It is 1/8 of 360 and 5 times 9. Fast moves
$ ^; W& C; {6 ?8 L/ Mup or down often occur in the 45th month. On any kind of chart that
j1 J# V( n! @- X2 P! Uyou make up with squares, you will find that 45 will come out on the
! e) f! X3 p5 {/ y45° angle or a 90° angle or an angle that is the equivalent of these ( U7 J5 W2 N0 Z8 K' F
angles. Notice how 45 comes out on the square of 9, the square of 20 + I6 @3 L# n. x% C: U. e8 ~, d
and the square of 12, all proving that 45 is a Master Number. Use 45 7 K% a7 U3 I3 r: F0 Q% P1 K
in every way possible for measuring Price, Time, Space and Volume . H8 h) z n& _
movements.
0 H7 l' N( o$ B" Y3 r. Q48 and 49: are strong and important numbers for changes in trend. 49 is 7 times
9 V8 s" Z4 c* b/ [* {7, or the square of 7, and 48 is 4 times 12, or the end of the 4th year. 8 `' Z4 E% C+ c, J
On a decline to 49 to 50, a stock often meets resistance and has a good 0 p b6 X+ Z# Y# s# p5 B; o
rally from this point. The same with a stock on an advance to around 0 A0 ~& S; X4 T2 o5 J6 C0 G% v2 K
49 to 50, meeting resistance around this point and reacting to 45
! I+ @: v& i8 I' M3 Yanyway.) ]' b. x( \1 T) D% w% R9 c7 k
50: is important because it is one-half of 100. If we add 5-5/8 to 45, we / l! \' m3 Q, `2 I4 }4 w
get 50-5/8.
! Y! p! L' y2 G9 {; v52: This number has some importance because there are 52 weeks in a
& O! s3 {: J* _& P" H1 ]" r# Ryear and 51-7/8 is one-seventh of a circle of 360°. It is 4-1/3 years.
- N" Y5 q, |$ k1 ?% d5 \52½ is the half-way point between 45 and 60, which makes this # i* k1 ?9 F J6 t
important to watch for resistance.
( U- L. h0 ?& w5 b56 and 57: These are very important because 56¼ is 45 plus 11¼ or the half-way ! W/ {, Y) y( B: c0 g. }
point between 45 and 67½. 56½ is the half-way point between 49 and . u- a' J% J5 `0 v3 N
64.. C* ?/ h4 @1 M+ F9 [. d# n+ y3 p
60: This is one of the very important numbers to watch for resistance. It ' F n4 _5 _, U) e% F
is an important time period because it equals 5 years in time or 1/2 of / E4 c' E, J' p2 W) x0 j% v
the 10-year cycle or 1/4 of a 20-year cycle. It is one of the most ( A8 e& W& F0 F1 [
important time periods after 45 to 49. 60 is 1/6 of the circle. Here
4 Z" o" m# q, D* U. b1 ^5 a: lagain we use the rule of 3, multiplying 20 by 3, we get 60. 60 is 1/3
% j- _ V S' w; \0 t5 Q+ |of 180 and the halfway point between 45 and 75. Watch stocks that
( Z* y, Q3 ^5 _ G* Fadvance to around 60 or decline to around 60. If they hesitate several
: U2 o3 V/ ^: p& g; g7 Fdays, weeks or months, you will know that they are meeting resistance
( W' z: y2 i* L9 W' E0 tat this point and a reverse move will occur.
# Z, K: q5 X# G63 to 64: 62½ is 5/8 of 100. 63 is 7 times 9. 64 is the square of 8, and is 5-1/3 ; n) ~: C4 X: J- y2 a/ i9 V! D1 R
years, and the next important point to watch after 60.
8 ^2 X5 f8 `: O7 w* ^5 N66 and 67: 66 is 5½ years or 5½ times 12. 67½ is 45 plus 22½ or 3/16 of a circle.
$ L. d- U6 i; b0 V; v; H% `- |( {70 to 72: The number 70 is referred to many times in the Bible. It is three score 9 X5 \0 W0 x: G4 d1 K0 f# e
years and ten, the allotted span of the life of man. 70 is 7 times 10; , V$ l% D; V. K
3½ times the 20-year cycle. 72 is 6 years and 72½ is the halfway 7 y' e+ ~, J' r/ n3 c* R
point between the square of 8 and the square of 9. 72 is 1/5 of 360. It
$ J d/ i0 m5 k& X. ?' \$ dis also the square of 12 and a very important time period.- S% J/ e9 b N) b" e& a( Z0 I+ t
78 to 80: These are all important because 78-3/4 is 7/8 of 90; 80 is 4 times 20 6 S) J) t7 h( f6 c/ M9 @
and twice 40. 80 equals 1/18 of 360° circle and is 4/5 of 100. The
9 \/ x7 }/ T/ U( N5 isquare of 9 is 81. Great resistance occurs around these price levels,
/ a$ f# F: c* R6 ?" s4 ~, Zand the endings and beginnings of cycles take place around these : o7 w8 Y7 k- l! b) b8 d% T
months as you will find by looking them up on your charts.' w" V7 k+ L7 D& ?
84 to 85: Strong resistance levels, because 84-3/8 is 15/16 of 90 and 84 is 7 1 u9 V) T& K9 t, D* B Y
times 12 and equals the 7-year cycle. At this point, the greatest
( b7 z/ h3 j. Y( b5 x/ Sresistance is met before a stock reaches the 90th month or a price of ( d6 c. O0 a/ [
90. After it breaks under 90, it is the first important resistance level
! d2 h7 D/ M* ~7 P' e5 v1 D/ Fbelow 90. ?( a2 o6 B/ {/ q! A8 g5 j) p
89 and 90: 90 is one of the strongest points of all because it equals a vertical
0 n* W* l; e( d+ E' \angle and represents 1/4 of the circle. 90½ is the half-way point 2 |. i( X" p: R
between 81 and 100, the square of 9 and the square of 10. In active , C1 ]! c2 @7 D7 l" M% F' X) _- ~
markets, moves straight up and straight down occur when the 90th d& Q* V- E3 A9 D5 }& _
month, 90th week or 90th day is reached. The 90th month is the most
! e4 r, N( X+ a& C7 u1 V) A: d+ \9 simportant, but the 90th week is also quite important.5 G1 \% U/ m- `* g6 ?( z
You should always watch the 89th month for tops and bottoms and % }1 e% m0 B: v" s; X5 O" w
important changes in trend. Many important campaigns begin and end
4 ]# u s4 \5 o# b! V# q9 v- e/ }in the 89th month; some run to the 91st month. Note U.S. Steel 4 B D" }4 C$ E, w
monthly 1915 to 1916 and see what happened around the 89th to 90th , ?' ^. ?) F" c% S
months.
# J7 X; }. i$ E2 c3 HOn the daily chart the change often comes on the 92nd to 93rd day,
6 |* z5 K1 E( |; @7 B/ J& }but a movement often runs to around the 98th day before an important 6 P. T) I- |( X! A5 s* ~" d
change. It is important to watch this point on a daily chart.
7 m% H9 ]8 c$ o( m @& a95 to 96: This is 8 times 12. 95-5/8 is 90 plus 5-5/8 and quite a strong % U; r8 s' o) J! u
resistance level for price and time changes. When an important time ' n$ Z6 @. L: J. ~6 A% r9 e
period comes out on the 96th to 98th month, you will often find an ! P& k g- V" y7 j9 T
important change in trend because this is 8 times 12 and starts the 9th ( B* n9 }/ ~1 _+ v( l
year. The 9th year is always important and marks the ending of
$ j6 f0 d% a' |) Vimportant campaigns with extreme high or low prices.
. b8 M4 h$ b, o; Y! V U }Stocks often advance to 95 to 97 and fail to make 100; then they often 2 B% U% Z5 I3 s: ?
decline to 97 to 95 and meet strong support, rally and cross 100 again.
( A% O; B$ o [% x5 O9 \99 to 100: Important because 100 is the square of 10. 99 is 11 times 9. 100 is a
, q- s8 q4 d9 g; @# ipsychological number for the public to buy and sell, or to hope for
0 k) A! ]! n2 A( oprices to reach. Stocks often go to 99 and fail to make 100 and often * V2 J! n; |; ^0 c! U" E; S7 S
decline to 99 and then start up again.
1 R8 O' O" K5 d9 zStudy all of these important squares and gravity centers or half-way points and the " K/ Q6 ~/ X9 x# A* W* M; V
squares of numbers above 12, as shown on the 360° Circle Chart. All of these 9 u8 R) p7 ~9 _# ]8 e
mathematical points will help you to determine changes in trend and resistance , Z9 M0 ]8 Q2 }7 c. f8 a7 G
