22½ and 24: 22½ is 1/16 of a circle, 1/2 of 45. The reason why stocks often make

26: When you consider the square of 4, which is 16, and the even square

, a# F5 ~1 K: y( @ _27 and 28: Important tops and bottoms often come out around 27 to 28 months,
) q+ b$ c9 Q4 c. Z! r! @and major or minor campaigns end on this time period. The reason for
" T6 F" w8 w7 F2 Ethis is that 4 times 7 is 28 and that 28 is 2-1/3 years. Three times 9 is 1 T7 [4 j6 p* I; B; L
27 and anything that comes out on multiples of 3 is very important, ( J5 c5 |6 K) p1 t) ]
because it is the first odd number that we can square, as the square of * ~3 A8 \: _7 j! H6 `- V

30: Any half-way point or gravity centre is also important. Therefore, 30, 0 a4 R9 S2 i7 c3 V# {: q) L7 r
which is 2½ years, is an important time period for changes in trend.
! A9 n6 ^7 ]9 dBecause 30½ is the half-way point between 25, the square of 25, and + T/ a0 W% L7 Y) p* ~6 n X3 S* Y- a
36, the square of 6, it makes this period important.
# j+ G1 ]. n- D$ p& ^! O34 to 36: 33¾ is 3/4 of 45. You will recall that the bear campaign which ended

important to watch for changes in trend around the 34th to 36th 2 f8 ?7 Z/ L1 w
months. 36 being the square of 6 makes this a strong resistance point. ; `1 m1 S$ u; q- {; q3 `
Three times 12 or the end of the 3rd year is another reason for strong

39 and 40: 40 is a number referred to many times in the Bible. The children of " n: L* J& `0 u l7 S$ n- X( T0 |
Israel wandered 40 years in the wilderness. The food lasted 40 days.
: S# a% f$ s7 P3 _40 equals 3-1/3 years. 7/8 of 45 is 39-3/8. Forty is 1/9 of a circle. All ' z. }- b( o; R; n) n
of this makes these numbers important for time periods and resistance
, k+ U( m5 C& D+ zlevels on price.
7 Q% @$ @% U! Q+ A) Z42: is the next important number for resistance in Time and Price. It is 3½ $ J5 ]" ]! O9 y8 ?4 M: V1 b
years of time or 1/2 of a 7-year cycle. Also, 42½ is the half-way point 2 ]/ } v% k+ a6 Y! y
between the square of 6 and the square of 7.
# c( B4 E& X! @3 E- n45: This is the master of all numbers because it contains all the digits from 7 O! X5 v1 G- Y3 y) u; a; C6 s
1 to 9. The 45° angle divides the 90° angle in half, making it an
% w3 U% X7 X6 v7 l: Rimportant gravity centre. It is 1/8 of 360 and 5 times 9. Fast moves 7 b$ o% K' [6 J) Q9 u
up or down often occur in the 45th month. On any kind of chart that , N$ y# N0 G4 X# {
you make up with squares, you will find that 45 will come out on the : u, d( P$ e" l+ f* f6 w. j
45° angle or a 90° angle or an angle that is the equivalent of these . G8 J5 K1 q- c {) `9 ]
angles. Notice how 45 comes out on the square of 9, the square of 20
. w" X, j8 N+ s5 zand the square of 12, all proving that 45 is a Master Number. Use 45
" `/ [$ b$ S& h/ Lin every way possible for measuring Price, Time, Space and Volume : H% z$ j5 f6 i: K9 O2 a8 P
movements.
$ b; Y6 u9 X" A' D* c48 and 49: are strong and important numbers for changes in trend. 49 is 7 times
4 ~* l( ~* p) U% ?7 Z7, or the square of 7, and 48 is 4 times 12, or the end of the 4th year.
3 R1 O- N# U/ h, f" x1 ]% hOn a decline to 49 to 50, a stock often meets resistance and has a good # B$ \% A2 U. O: X y7 Y! \
rally from this point. The same with a stock on an advance to around 1 {! o8 N1 V7 M! `; P+ G& i- N) x: Y
49 to 50, meeting resistance around this point and reacting to 45

50: is important because it is one-half of 100. If we add 5-5/8 to 45, we ! {. Z4 {) I. L1 p) B

52: This number has some importance because there are 52 weeks in a : _7 a; k) b d, I" x) b
year and 51-7/8 is one-seventh of a circle of 360°. It is 4-1/3 years.

56 and 57: These are very important because 56¼ is 45 plus 11¼ or the half-way

60: This is one of the very important numbers to watch for resistance. It
' a" F- |/ V! [is an important time period because it equals 5 years in time or 1/2 of
$ t8 l% E! \# Gthe 10-year cycle or 1/4 of a 20-year cycle. It is one of the most 2 ?& S [4 h% a' C7 j) F
important time periods after 45 to 49. 60 is 1/6 of the circle. Here
) z9 F8 K, z" l$ v' q7 D7 ^again we use the rule of 3, multiplying 20 by 3, we get 60. 60 is 1/3
5 }: g1 s/ x! P8 I6 `7 J* r8 Yof 180 and the halfway point between 45 and 75. Watch stocks that
7 g' ~2 x% W `$ {- y; g) t1 C! Iadvance to around 60 or decline to around 60. If they hesitate several 3 _+ }6 ?- G. y+ h
days, weeks or months, you will know that they are meeting resistance
' g- P4 z0 ^- d5 B3 c6 Gat this point and a reverse move will occur.! Y4 n( ~4 d& m# }: P
63 to 64: 62½ is 5/8 of 100. 63 is 7 times 9. 64 is the square of 8, and is 5-1/3

66 and 67: 66 is 5½ years or 5½ times 12. 67½ is 45 plus 22½ or 3/16 of a circle.
" o. K, U, I" F% @9 `# B" v70 to 72: The number 70 is referred to many times in the Bible. It is three score 1 O; S: Q- Q5 E/ |
years and ten, the allotted span of the life of man. 70 is 7 times 10;
4 m# |, o$ a- Q O3½ times the 20-year cycle. 72 is 6 years and 72½ is the halfway

78 to 80: These are all important because 78-3/4 is 7/8 of 90; 80 is 4 times 20
' z: f/ R- u6 aand twice 40. 80 equals 1/18 of 360° circle and is 4/5 of 100. The
/ h+ X$ A8 f/ y' b; w/ {square of 9 is 81. Great resistance occurs around these price levels, 4 I7 \0 m' |6 O0 J
and the endings and beginnings of cycles take place around these

. A0 s+ F8 { F# C84 to 85: Strong resistance levels, because 84-3/8 is 15/16 of 90 and 84 is 7 2 ]* @ _* b. f! Z U. I
times 12 and equals the 7-year cycle. At this point, the greatest . R& l$ Q/ X4 K! o! x x0 w
resistance is met before a stock reaches the 90th month or a price of * G# V) H7 o& h6 u
90. After it breaks under 90, it is the first important resistance level
! H* G' A/ J5 j2 {" Pbelow 90.: I- I* q* K! c$ _" x `9 m
89 and 90: 90 is one of the strongest points of all because it equals a vertical
. o: y1 p' B4 A+ dangle and represents 1/4 of the circle. 90½ is the half-way point . @* G9 G! U; h) K8 g `
between 81 and 100, the square of 9 and the square of 10. In active 2 d2 M6 i" l3 m3 w) Q
markets, moves straight up and straight down occur when the 90th
; D' H0 r, v7 K- }% M2 `month, 90th week or 90th day is reached. The 90th month is the most
! P8 ~7 }" K2 Mimportant, but the 90th week is also quite important.! E, q. x9 Q0 ~% f$ {# z }9 [
You should always watch the 89th month for tops and bottoms and 6 ], ?! m- y! t9 G$ W, O7 E
important changes in trend. Many important campaigns begin and end
: o1 t1 L( |7 g7 win the 89th month; some run to the 91st month. Note U.S. Steel 7 ^* F9 @7 s! K7 q
monthly 1915 to 1916 and see what happened around the 89th to 90th
. C" D$ u; F/ `6 c4 fmonths.
- F% W& t7 \/ b4 x8 m" A8 N, n' zOn the daily chart the change often comes on the 92nd to 93rd day,
- R3 R) c+ K. T& s- d9 {' v! t) ubut a movement often runs to around the 98th day before an important
5 P8 r$ ?% l5 H+ ?, Nchange. It is important to watch this point on a daily chart.& F' V6 a% D# [2 S, N
95 to 96: This is 8 times 12. 95-5/8 is 90 plus 5-5/8 and quite a strong 0 X' [; w9 n& `" o( o- ]
resistance level for price and time changes. When an important time
' F+ j# q+ j3 N! ]: ?1 i7 K0 E" d7 Aperiod comes out on the 96th to 98th month, you will often find an
8 Z. E. c8 n# z# ?. w9 wimportant change in trend because this is 8 times 12 and starts the 9th
; V3 Q7 |. K6 ~) m2 [/ S" Yyear. The 9th year is always important and marks the ending of + z6 j" ~* k9 Z- M# s0 R/ J
important campaigns with extreme high or low prices.; H/ m. [$ e2 q0 u O" o
Stocks often advance to 95 to 97 and fail to make 100; then they often & w, E7 e" k5 [! c3 l7 U/ r
decline to 97 to 95 and meet strong support, rally and cross 100 again.
" E- I8 V2 d" g* k' Y1 d- P0 m99 to 100: Important because 100 is the square of 10. 99 is 11 times 9. 100 is a ; F6 v4 ~% z* q7 M
psychological number for the public to buy and sell, or to hope for * m3 |, J0 Z4 n1 M! F7 B
prices to reach. Stocks often go to 99 and fail to make 100 and often " O# L) H6 H7 Z, l. Q% c4 ~: N
decline to 99 and then start up again.6 j! b, @! s) E7 I& x& b
Study all of these important squares and gravity centers or half-way points and the
, u! Z5 F2 \/ }+ p9 G( m/ isquares of numbers above 12, as shown on the 360° Circle Chart. All of these 6 Z6 I) I, [; `2 O" T
mathematical points will help you to determine changes in trend and resistance
