18: An important number for resistance in Time and Price because it is

20½: The half-way point between 16 and 25, therefore important at times.7 z+ C, {/ t. _( v" ~. k. ?
22½ and 24: 22½ is 1/16 of a circle, 1/2 of 45. The reason why stocks often make 5 M: z' c: `. A. | v& D
top or bottom in the 23rd month is because the angle of 22½° comes
' o6 Y# J' s4 eout at this point.; w! \. h$ x8 Y% v$ t
24 and 25: These are very important because 24 is twice 12 and 25 is the square
2 n; [1 k6 b9 U8 N' u; T- Lof 5 and 1/4 of 100./ r3 C/ v% ?( v
26: When you consider the square of 4, which is 16, and the even square & X7 C4 r" y, K) {
of 6, which is 36, the half-way point between them is 26, which is
5 O- U* {! B {sometimes an important resistance point for Time and Price.
$ ?9 C, I) G( V4 n2 p27 and 28: Important tops and bottoms often come out around 27 to 28 months, ; W2 b. Y8 \; k9 K f
and major or minor campaigns end on this time period. The reason for
9 [' c& F' p( h* ]* _this is that 4 times 7 is 28 and that 28 is 2-1/3 years. Three times 9 is
9 k" n3 a2 }1 p- Z3 ~2 a+ S0 @ B/ W27 and anything that comes out on multiples of 3 is very important,
4 x: g: G; v' h. k& vbecause it is the first odd number that we can square, as the square of
2 h9 B3 _- y8 q. i' q3 m3 p9 R1 is 1.
" f K6 C: r! V4 W% ^0 D9 P6 z6 i30: Any half-way point or gravity centre is also important. Therefore, 30, / T: J6 g; }5 \! O! o0 V; p" H
which is 2½ years, is an important time period for changes in trend.
2 y/ X" a5 `8 P5 ?8 g( V BBecause 30½ is the half-way point between 25, the square of 25, and
& r' F% }; ]( ]. G36, the square of 6, it makes this period important.; _; s7 g$ E: X; |9 \2 a* ?3 O
34 to 36: 33¾ is 3/4 of 45. You will recall that the bear campaign which ended
* j# C- ~5 K: j- a) }/ T6 Pin July, 1932, was 34 months from the 1929 top. It is always 5 }0 a$ i$ w7 H! Q
important to watch for changes in trend around the 34th to 36th
& [! H8 Q* u/ y. \months. 36 being the square of 6 makes this a strong resistance point.
) f' r; A1 G, R4 h8 P d5 vThree times 12 or the end of the 3rd year is another reason for strong 2 c$ [' L; H5 m y
resistance at this point.
% U5 v) D" K, }8 A3 b39 and 40: 40 is a number referred to many times in the Bible. The children of
: O: |& {- _+ q; AIsrael wandered 40 years in the wilderness. The food lasted 40 days. 5 h% Z4 x4 K0 n. j6 l X Y
40 equals 3-1/3 years. 7/8 of 45 is 39-3/8. Forty is 1/9 of a circle. All
' j; b/ r; a! M6 hof this makes these numbers important for time periods and resistance
; z/ j3 E# F/ Olevels on price.3 h+ ~ m7 J2 ~* q# \8 j- f& P
42: is the next important number for resistance in Time and Price. It is 3½ 5 [* S' I" g5 u f3 v1 |' o
years of time or 1/2 of a 7-year cycle. Also, 42½ is the half-way point
( q1 E. [* Q( b; lbetween the square of 6 and the square of 7.
4 i/ X3 a; O! u* ~+ P45: This is the master of all numbers because it contains all the digits from
0 P3 w) g- B" l( s5 U1 to 9. The 45° angle divides the 90° angle in half, making it an : D/ l: Z5 u8 H9 A/ N" s# v
important gravity centre. It is 1/8 of 360 and 5 times 9. Fast moves . E/ C# ?/ Z. i- V% b# Y
up or down often occur in the 45th month. On any kind of chart that
' u6 s1 ^2 Y3 z$ r' r0 Eyou make up with squares, you will find that 45 will come out on the
4 u1 r1 |& z* X5 `+ g45° angle or a 90° angle or an angle that is the equivalent of these # l7 r2 Q& Y, v+ }+ r; |% s
angles. Notice how 45 comes out on the square of 9, the square of 20 ) S3 x/ y I) J3 P- j! `4 F F6 c
and the square of 12, all proving that 45 is a Master Number. Use 45 # I4 Y( H8 A( t3 T* R6 K
in every way possible for measuring Price, Time, Space and Volume

& h* M# S& w4 B/ M% X7 s+ A9 W( v( l48 and 49: are strong and important numbers for changes in trend. 49 is 7 times % ]& |' `% z; d! f s4 u8 T5 l
7, or the square of 7, and 48 is 4 times 12, or the end of the 4th year. 0 o6 q, r w! l% d9 g
On a decline to 49 to 50, a stock often meets resistance and has a good ! I& G/ `% @% e \( }7 D
rally from this point. The same with a stock on an advance to around
0 N3 W! c* j$ ?0 R/ j! M49 to 50, meeting resistance around this point and reacting to 45 * Z T" G' Q( q5 e5 T$ ]
anyway. g# k* Y' Q& G) h# M5 t
50: is important because it is one-half of 100. If we add 5-5/8 to 45, we * V0 @: {* s' \2 F8 K9 i
get 50-5/8.
) x) |+ G4 ~4 d! {3 V9 G' t52: This number has some importance because there are 52 weeks in a - ~0 m; `; X( |" P0 h
year and 51-7/8 is one-seventh of a circle of 360°. It is 4-1/3 years. " I8 b3 G! ^3 u) o9 N2 J: p
52½ is the half-way point between 45 and 60, which makes this . l3 T+ f \( B O& n
important to watch for resistance.9 @& K* t: I" [
56 and 57: These are very important because 56¼ is 45 plus 11¼ or the half-way
. V' g* A9 M& `/ ?3 k; Qpoint between 45 and 67½. 56½ is the half-way point between 49 and
1 P1 g K. }' h- [% v$ c+ H' w64.
8 c, B( E) F$ i4 _# q60: This is one of the very important numbers to watch for resistance. It
! D7 v3 H: W) Ais an important time period because it equals 5 years in time or 1/2 of
$ C, B0 Q0 @' Z# S0 T5 zthe 10-year cycle or 1/4 of a 20-year cycle. It is one of the most " f5 _9 i- E7 a2 p- P
important time periods after 45 to 49. 60 is 1/6 of the circle. Here
6 m- y9 i& ~! S$ }1 h1 D% Fagain we use the rule of 3, multiplying 20 by 3, we get 60. 60 is 1/3
* k* S+ H5 I! s% [7 Gof 180 and the halfway point between 45 and 75. Watch stocks that
1 ]. g% d' A! X) s" q% Hadvance to around 60 or decline to around 60. If they hesitate several : @9 E# E U1 H& u
days, weeks or months, you will know that they are meeting resistance , _( M5 x! A g4 |5 S& O
at this point and a reverse move will occur.1 E1 t: s4 d3 f
63 to 64: 62½ is 5/8 of 100. 63 is 7 times 9. 64 is the square of 8, and is 5-1/3 0 ^) T ^* k6 a2 I* \; M
years, and the next important point to watch after 60.
" l; b/ i* h: _3 P! _' D66 and 67: 66 is 5½ years or 5½ times 12. 67½ is 45 plus 22½ or 3/16 of a circle.
* Y* [ X) m3 i/ r70 to 72: The number 70 is referred to many times in the Bible. It is three score 1 n& i8 H9 m% `7 p! F
years and ten, the allotted span of the life of man. 70 is 7 times 10;
8 t7 E5 @3 e6 e- M1 k3 a& [3½ times the 20-year cycle. 72 is 6 years and 72½ is the halfway - k5 j+ k* w9 H( P( W" T
point between the square of 8 and the square of 9. 72 is 1/5 of 360. It
7 `" _1 `' f3 _1 Y1 s' v7 K; xis also the square of 12 and a very important time period.
) p1 T2 U- T, g- U78 to 80: These are all important because 78-3/4 is 7/8 of 90; 80 is 4 times 20
4 K4 C& { R( Aand twice 40. 80 equals 1/18 of 360° circle and is 4/5 of 100. The & b. R6 J) {+ m; z' h, b5 g o, E
square of 9 is 81. Great resistance occurs around these price levels,
7 Z) i5 O/ T( V, C% `' vand the endings and beginnings of cycles take place around these ( `3 s0 d, _0 {# G
months as you will find by looking them up on your charts.6 o" d2 E4 M2 z, g
84 to 85: Strong resistance levels, because 84-3/8 is 15/16 of 90 and 84 is 7
/ W. S. h/ P. Z; W$ |& Wtimes 12 and equals the 7-year cycle. At this point, the greatest 2 k B* L& Y$ O5 c/ H" x$ Z
resistance is met before a stock reaches the 90th month or a price of
$ q7 W0 R! a8 P2 n1 D6 @" t% ^90. After it breaks under 90, it is the first important resistance level
9 Q r( s% v' j8 c8 zbelow 90.5 J7 z7 B t( W8 o+ z2 t+ [
89 and 90: 90 is one of the strongest points of all because it equals a vertical
& |, l. p2 u3 E0 N6 R# Uangle and represents 1/4 of the circle. 90½ is the half-way point 6 `# p( i5 L# k* j* A! g" x0 k& l
between 81 and 100, the square of 9 and the square of 10. In active
) L. e6 s: ~6 o vmarkets, moves straight up and straight down occur when the 90th + M! U2 [6 j1 R J% x' B; ]
month, 90th week or 90th day is reached. The 90th month is the most C4 F5 ]) ^& w6 F5 M
important, but the 90th week is also quite important.
7 H3 R2 ]+ Q% ~2 ~! R( S3 ZYou should always watch the 89th month for tops and bottoms and
1 O {; C6 Q1 i/ k! ~important changes in trend. Many important campaigns begin and end , H8 v, N3 b( ~+ n
in the 89th month; some run to the 91st month. Note U.S. Steel
; d" N A8 C/ u4 \: e( hmonthly 1915 to 1916 and see what happened around the 89th to 90th * W5 Z; p. r6 E# i( W
months.5 L' i/ i2 c j8 B
On the daily chart the change often comes on the 92nd to 93rd day,
V F+ L/ h+ N8 R* W7 h, jbut a movement often runs to around the 98th day before an important , r9 k$ t" C$ z
change. It is important to watch this point on a daily chart.
+ T2 u. g% w4 z% j; j- \95 to 96: This is 8 times 12. 95-5/8 is 90 plus 5-5/8 and quite a strong
" z/ P3 R- I# G" t5 _9 `1 mresistance level for price and time changes. When an important time " W e8 L; G& c
period comes out on the 96th to 98th month, you will often find an
7 o4 M3 @% I% [4 }( J0 Gimportant change in trend because this is 8 times 12 and starts the 9th
* p2 z- J1 A. m" i) Dyear. The 9th year is always important and marks the ending of ! K% D% N3 b2 L" \1 ?* J
important campaigns with extreme high or low prices.
6 Z5 Q4 ?/ M) S" c9 t' E! G7 MStocks often advance to 95 to 97 and fail to make 100; then they often ' y/ N, _/ s* ]1 `& v- g1 b, r
decline to 97 to 95 and meet strong support, rally and cross 100 again.
8 E7 @) o( D1 J; t& e99 to 100: Important because 100 is the square of 10. 99 is 11 times 9. 100 is a
: \) \4 D( c _psychological number for the public to buy and sell, or to hope for
8 p( p: w( [5 @4 B$ P6 rprices to reach. Stocks often go to 99 and fail to make 100 and often
, G$ `8 ~0 T( v$ g! Idecline to 99 and then start up again.
4 G7 U2 J9 \9 W# jStudy all of these important squares and gravity centers or half-way points and the 8 m; \6 O% B2 p4 c, r, @
squares of numbers above 12, as shown on the 360° Circle Chart. All of these
! F2 e9 I2 J" Q, x! Y' F" }mathematical points will help you to determine changes in trend and resistance " q! R' n% `& c9 w: C% U+ G4 L' g
