number one in the center (or apex of the Great Pyramid) with the number 2 immediately
# i# X0 a" A" G- j3 d+ B0 ^1 Bto the left. The rest of the numbers spiral around the center in a clockwise fashion to the
* A: R# G. U$ |; dnumber 9, which completes the first cycle of numbers around the center. 10 through 257 \( a9 v4 v/ m7 a! Z
completes the 2nd cycle, 26 through 49 completes the 3rd , etc… This particular
/ c/ [) s& |# ~" Q- p" {arrangement of numbers creates a very unique square root relationship with other2 c4 Y e- ?2 a: I8 r

Professional Traders. Basically, if you want to move around the coordinates on the Gann+ P0 u7 S0 g4 j, X$ N
Wheel you take the number you are interested in ( such as the all  High or Low price)
$ J8 x2 k) z/ ?! btake the square root of the number, then add or subtract 2 from the root and resquare the
& M" k8 H+ C: p& `* s3 W/ eresult. Example: Lets say that we are interested in the price 664 (which is in the vertical
' c; G7 _6 Z4 jcolumn straight up from the center). The square root is 25.768 + 2 = 27.768^2 = 771
; F1 t- z" K Y7 J P7 Wwhich is the number directly above 664 or one full 360 degree cycle out from center. If
: A$ b, T5 S8 k+ R; z( }we subtracted 2 from the root and re-squared the number (25.768-2= 23.768^2 = 565 )
) f0 J9 S' n0 A, `, G7 _5 f) Ywe would get 565 which is directly below 664 or one full 360 degree cycle in towards
H6 b* V5 {9 ^: s3 z0 c# ?* Pcenter. Incorporating the Gann Emblem with this technique, allows us to calculate5 ~, q9 C, D9 Q$ t7 g
coordinates that are conjunct (360 = +/- 2 from the root), opposition (180 = +/- 1 from
& D- W2 o! a# {0 d" N% Eroot #), trine (120= +/- .666) (240= +/- 1.333), square (90 = +/- .5) (270= +/- 1.5) and8 H, d1 f9 n9 \* l# Y7 |5 K
sextile (60 = +/- .333) (300 = +/- 1.666).

are making hard aspects to a previous position on the wheel. Also, Gann believed that the
7 {2 W$ [2 G& C3 [! {6 }, C. cnumbers that connected the square base of the pyramid (the 4 corners of the square, i.e.% @ e8 l6 F6 q( x2 c# ^5 q" V
corner #'s.) to the “gravity center” and also the numbers that ran straight vertical and
3 }9 I {- I6 t3 ^8 dhorizon tal from the “gravity center” in the form of a cross (cardinal numbers) were very, Q/ q8 z* z+ }8 J) ]
important in balancing “Price & Time” on the wheel. He was basically looking for
7 M& @$ K0 Y/ M( r: o- |astronomical longitudes to balance with price on these key angles. Pythagoras said “
8 ~% B% w' F' p2 U2 gUnits in a circle or in a square are related to each other in terms of Price & Time at
8 ]- m# J' g$ I7 R/ ^& G" z dspecific points.” Gann often quoted the Bible, Emerson, Pythagoras and Faraday to name% W8 }# B1 e$ x' `
a few. Basically, he was pointing the reader of his works to clues that would allow his5 f9 o: n2 @8 M/ m. G- ^
student to unlock the code of his writing style., k( B! \% U: d& h1 e. V
1 D3 `- z- P1 p6 z; |Time around the outer perimeter of the Square of 9 is a circle with months and days. The8 b# }$ A, x2 T* z9 V0 }# _
circular calendar starts on the left-hand side of the wheel on the same horizontal line as5 {0 K' S; q- x4 M2 H3 c! ?7 W
the center block. The date is March 21st and refers to the start of the “natural” year in the: z1 m& ^4 ~5 I% d S. W+ D. g
season of Spring with the Sun in Aries ^. “Lamb of God you take away the sins of the& j! |% L: w7 A- @1 V" F
world” ( Spring takes away the sins of Winter). The dates move around the circle
8 V7 j& T: t. X+ Zclockwise completing the calendar. This relationship allows the user to quickly identify& m$ z8 h$ Q. a. W" ]& b
dates that are Conjuct, Opposite, Square, Trine or sextile to a past calendar date relative8 e1 d2 {+ q, X: K+ N( ^- ]5 i
to the Sun / Earth relationship.

an inner circle and an inner square, as well as an outer square and an outer circle which1 _5 n) `6 h5 v3 l2 J3 z
prove the Fourth Dimension in working out price movements.” So far, we have covered7 F& x/ O: Z& n6 N2 `

low coordinates on the square itself). The outer circle includes all of the planets and is the

outer square. In this way, we can convert planetary positions to prices relating to degrees) k2 K7 y; X& F# J/ c i0 [4 a
of a circle (Zodiac longitude) and also to coordinates on the Square of 9. We can also1 ^+ q* C' p# J! D' Q9 C* c
examine hard aspects to both zodiac longitude and Square of 9 coordinates. Furthermore,+ c; W& t- K4 F" G
we can also use a first trade chart ( Natal Chart ), i.e. horoscope (another inner circle) to

this is what Gann meant when he discussed “Natural Law”.
