4 o' C) j' j9 B5 i: S18: An important number for resistance in Time and Price because it is
3 T D! o/ [5 E/ U8 }& }3 }twice 9, 1½ times 12, 1/20th of a circle.( D; B% y1 L+ M, v
20½: The half-way point between 16 and 25, therefore important at times.9 ~2 m8 V: p& x! a$ H! ~( A0 K
22½ and 24: 22½ is 1/16 of a circle, 1/2 of 45. The reason why stocks often make

24 and 25: These are very important because 24 is twice 12 and 25 is the square + B) Y; D6 O% V! ?' Y1 _
of 5 and 1/4 of 100., Z* @3 S. M! ?- A9 A
26: When you consider the square of 4, which is 16, and the even square
7 C& I9 B! ?( h$ Vof 6, which is 36, the half-way point between them is 26, which is . M; ?5 f1 ~9 d2 d/ f
sometimes an important resistance point for Time and Price.
+ m/ W5 B8 f; j1 L$ s27 and 28: Important tops and bottoms often come out around 27 to 28 months,
! `9 N4 d9 {! r: Band major or minor campaigns end on this time period. The reason for 4 M1 Q( s; X- _3 r7 b0 ]
this is that 4 times 7 is 28 and that 28 is 2-1/3 years. Three times 9 is
: F. t8 g! T1 H; M27 and anything that comes out on multiples of 3 is very important, J8 W, @; z7 Y4 L/ _
because it is the first odd number that we can square, as the square of
A$ _; ~6 M8 s1 is 1.
% | v3 u& ^* `( y5 r30: Any half-way point or gravity centre is also important. Therefore, 30,
2 R) Y5 v7 ^# swhich is 2½ years, is an important time period for changes in trend. - [2 q1 D2 H1 \; G5 S" T6 y7 h
Because 30½ is the half-way point between 25, the square of 25, and

34 to 36: 33¾ is 3/4 of 45. You will recall that the bear campaign which ended 5 b0 y) |+ H( j. X
in July, 1932, was 34 months from the 1929 top. It is always + {" T9 U3 _9 y+ {. C) v! w+ Z9 s
important to watch for changes in trend around the 34th to 36th
1 f; i6 j0 s6 }6 y k4 z) `4 pmonths. 36 being the square of 6 makes this a strong resistance point. / a Y) @$ S h' p z/ Q
Three times 12 or the end of the 3rd year is another reason for strong $ l' \+ Z* _' J* j/ p# E+ O' s+ k
resistance at this point.
5 I) @) E1 ]9 n; b$ w' O39 and 40: 40 is a number referred to many times in the Bible. The children of 3 u2 H @( w6 S: \5 I" t
Israel wandered 40 years in the wilderness. The food lasted 40 days. $ b$ F4 ]) x7 q0 g# B/ X1 X1 |$ @4 \
40 equals 3-1/3 years. 7/8 of 45 is 39-3/8. Forty is 1/9 of a circle. All
/ _( Z2 e* i+ H* M5 t5 z4 y, aof this makes these numbers important for time periods and resistance
5 c& }1 z* r! flevels on price.. X" o- i+ A R" j# Y% X
42: is the next important number for resistance in Time and Price. It is 3½
$ d$ ]3 B) ?: o& [8 `. S p( Fyears of time or 1/2 of a 7-year cycle. Also, 42½ is the half-way point - |1 ~8 P& R8 L( O/ ~
between the square of 6 and the square of 7.5 }# Z/ w( e* {, S, g% L0 G! |
45: This is the master of all numbers because it contains all the digits from ' w" F+ h! ?1 b1 a' w
1 to 9. The 45° angle divides the 90° angle in half, making it an / ]; T- D2 t4 P, \( {
important gravity centre. It is 1/8 of 360 and 5 times 9. Fast moves
) y# o3 U3 r, u5 R6 g n3 Hup or down often occur in the 45th month. On any kind of chart that
) y0 J4 g, e- z: v8 s: zyou make up with squares, you will find that 45 will come out on the
3 f8 e- ^3 C; q& H8 Q. ^6 Q9 D. \45° angle or a 90° angle or an angle that is the equivalent of these
X1 f8 Y1 \, }9 l. fangles. Notice how 45 comes out on the square of 9, the square of 20
5 _9 ~6 E1 H: `9 r1 X2 Sand the square of 12, all proving that 45 is a Master Number. Use 45

48 and 49: are strong and important numbers for changes in trend. 49 is 7 times
- {& }; ^- e% t$ k7, or the square of 7, and 48 is 4 times 12, or the end of the 4th year.
# _: a3 z& y+ C8 P9 jOn a decline to 49 to 50, a stock often meets resistance and has a good
3 r7 Y+ X. ~9 Z grally from this point. The same with a stock on an advance to around " E! c: C# F3 s' J) k! e- C! S
49 to 50, meeting resistance around this point and reacting to 45

50: is important because it is one-half of 100. If we add 5-5/8 to 45, we

52: This number has some importance because there are 52 weeks in a

52½ is the half-way point between 45 and 60, which makes this

point between 45 and 67½. 56½ is the half-way point between 49 and * V# l* U T* n

+ ]$ \& g1 x" r' }. E0 ~0 O60: This is one of the very important numbers to watch for resistance. It ) l/ y" q3 x( q8 p) I/ S- _- ^
is an important time period because it equals 5 years in time or 1/2 of
) Z: n: A5 D0 I, u0 L) G4 r2 z. athe 10-year cycle or 1/4 of a 20-year cycle. It is one of the most
* A0 r1 w! t/ Fimportant time periods after 45 to 49. 60 is 1/6 of the circle. Here
, K% e$ M( z# `- `$ B3 zagain we use the rule of 3, multiplying 20 by 3, we get 60. 60 is 1/3 9 t6 u2 ]; {* H& Y+ n
of 180 and the halfway point between 45 and 75. Watch stocks that / W1 g7 A4 O! C$ Z
advance to around 60 or decline to around 60. If they hesitate several
/ F( b" n, o, _6 \days, weeks or months, you will know that they are meeting resistance 0 V( t6 Z; _8 l! ]! `- {
at this point and a reverse move will occur.
: }* Z/ K) y6 y# O/ {2 b7 q63 to 64: 62½ is 5/8 of 100. 63 is 7 times 9. 64 is the square of 8, and is 5-1/3 ( i$ K2 c6 ~0 I+ v1 x
years, and the next important point to watch after 60.
! f& z2 L: {; h) X/ A" `' n66 and 67: 66 is 5½ years or 5½ times 12. 67½ is 45 plus 22½ or 3/16 of a circle.
9 S. M! l+ P/ R' ~! F2 r# `70 to 72: The number 70 is referred to many times in the Bible. It is three score u, k. f$ f/ A8 ~. C: S/ w7 x
years and ten, the allotted span of the life of man. 70 is 7 times 10; * e1 T' ]6 j& y% ~( h
3½ times the 20-year cycle. 72 is 6 years and 72½ is the halfway
6 u: L5 T; a, v( I, i% Z+ x9 ]point between the square of 8 and the square of 9. 72 is 1/5 of 360. It 7 E o) R5 }# E0 p. i' @1 k
is also the square of 12 and a very important time period.! A9 G* j8 \3 V$ l. T5 `
78 to 80: These are all important because 78-3/4 is 7/8 of 90; 80 is 4 times 20 9 C& N# w8 D( E1 Y. l% r
and twice 40. 80 equals 1/18 of 360° circle and is 4/5 of 100. The
6 x& t/ E. \. s( D8 ~square of 9 is 81. Great resistance occurs around these price levels,
% K. e6 Z7 V4 w1 i1 \and the endings and beginnings of cycles take place around these
9 w$ j: M' D' B1 gmonths as you will find by looking them up on your charts.
8 b j5 \, X1 J& m- ]5 o3 l( I84 to 85: Strong resistance levels, because 84-3/8 is 15/16 of 90 and 84 is 7
/ f" [# ?3 `) _% R4 Y2 S) Htimes 12 and equals the 7-year cycle. At this point, the greatest ! k7 [6 d/ R, d9 C9 B( K5 F
resistance is met before a stock reaches the 90th month or a price of
4 \+ E" w) C1 ^. c4 P0 w90. After it breaks under 90, it is the first important resistance level
# y5 C, o# w5 z& Obelow 90.1 N. d8 h/ `- L3 f* b
89 and 90: 90 is one of the strongest points of all because it equals a vertical : }; i0 \0 |1 H
angle and represents 1/4 of the circle. 90½ is the half-way point ; N% B9 H) K/ Y' S, B
between 81 and 100, the square of 9 and the square of 10. In active
T$ t6 X+ H W2 |0 n( D5 hmarkets, moves straight up and straight down occur when the 90th 6 [) O8 o: |* P7 |
month, 90th week or 90th day is reached. The 90th month is the most . R+ J: Z1 b8 Q4 }2 d0 A# }
important, but the 90th week is also quite important.
v- M7 c- x6 w3 `0 HYou should always watch the 89th month for tops and bottoms and
Z9 w) S" J* q7 j8 A4 oimportant changes in trend. Many important campaigns begin and end " @ f0 M+ W8 B9 ~& |
in the 89th month; some run to the 91st month. Note U.S. Steel - v# P6 I% w" s& k) A' A
monthly 1915 to 1916 and see what happened around the 89th to 90th
( e8 o% w( u8 ^0 }( l. R. f! jmonths.) ]9 Q: w# [. [: h
On the daily chart the change often comes on the 92nd to 93rd day,
" m4 o" _: ?* m; ?5 E$ s8 Mbut a movement often runs to around the 98th day before an important # u. t' L- `* l
change. It is important to watch this point on a daily chart.
8 m3 H' `; [8 V' p95 to 96: This is 8 times 12. 95-5/8 is 90 plus 5-5/8 and quite a strong 5 v" U( i0 i5 s& V O1 a
resistance level for price and time changes. When an important time
/ i0 H5 F- j" R$ }; }; f1 }( Fperiod comes out on the 96th to 98th month, you will often find an
4 [+ q' v+ f# k$ b0 t* h' ximportant change in trend because this is 8 times 12 and starts the 9th ' P# R/ J8 Q0 z( ?
year. The 9th year is always important and marks the ending of 9 M, j( X* c$ u
important campaigns with extreme high or low prices.
7 O) L+ E. s" g* N! y3 dStocks often advance to 95 to 97 and fail to make 100; then they often
$ V7 {- u" r' B. j& r, ydecline to 97 to 95 and meet strong support, rally and cross 100 again.* c# v" }8 _, v p! {
99 to 100: Important because 100 is the square of 10. 99 is 11 times 9. 100 is a
: h3 K9 k. ?) A' C r7 Upsychological number for the public to buy and sell, or to hope for - \( o6 K. |5 V) X1 E3 S
prices to reach. Stocks often go to 99 and fail to make 100 and often / h4 r9 |$ r% C) u; }
decline to 99 and then start up again.
) j: I$ f/ j3 f$ e* w" B+ {' pStudy all of these important squares and gravity centers or half-way points and the
: R7 o8 q M5 _8 _- h6 f0 ssquares of numbers above 12, as shown on the 360° Circle Chart. All of these
