18: An important number for resistance in Time and Price because it is 4 K0 @7 M* J( S ~( W
twice 9, 1½ times 12, 1/20th of a circle.
% N! B- e! R# q20½: The half-way point between 16 and 25, therefore important at times.
. \" v0 v& C$ H& J! ^4 g5 z22½ and 24: 22½ is 1/16 of a circle, 1/2 of 45. The reason why stocks often make
* \. p: o8 V2 a. N5 k( Btop or bottom in the 23rd month is because the angle of 22½° comes
! N- `- k. n" e8 x. b0 Qout at this point.
- v, A. X S) r24 and 25: These are very important because 24 is twice 12 and 25 is the square

26: When you consider the square of 4, which is 16, and the even square 0 e# [) p0 h7 P r) p# J; F- B
of 6, which is 36, the half-way point between them is 26, which is
: b" R' @3 @/ K0 Psometimes an important resistance point for Time and Price.7 m: y M: N/ v, D
27 and 28: Important tops and bottoms often come out around 27 to 28 months, * w, H3 U5 K9 I! |3 H4 G I+ _
and major or minor campaigns end on this time period. The reason for
2 i, S P! T7 @: _this is that 4 times 7 is 28 and that 28 is 2-1/3 years. Three times 9 is
" N+ k" S8 Q5 y8 G27 and anything that comes out on multiples of 3 is very important,
2 U, T" p" Q+ }+ r; }3 e4 Q9 jbecause it is the first odd number that we can square, as the square of . X) I1 c v% l8 c
1 is 1.- f% w! y/ O* R, u: T1 G; ^- ]( d" _
30: Any half-way point or gravity centre is also important. Therefore, 30, - }2 Z6 C2 J' c i+ m" J
which is 2½ years, is an important time period for changes in trend.
7 E3 ~) M, m0 I, R! v1 s7 z5 `; aBecause 30½ is the half-way point between 25, the square of 25, and , Q) t q. F0 ~# M( L
36, the square of 6, it makes this period important.9 }7 ^* p! x+ _) w
34 to 36: 33¾ is 3/4 of 45. You will recall that the bear campaign which ended & M+ O% M8 D5 q% P8 C
in July, 1932, was 34 months from the 1929 top. It is always
. T" A/ {0 Y! B/ Gimportant to watch for changes in trend around the 34th to 36th
6 [) p2 H: v0 v& E. s# t, N/ gmonths. 36 being the square of 6 makes this a strong resistance point.
( R; ?" N3 f, \( S8 ?7 N( sThree times 12 or the end of the 3rd year is another reason for strong # f8 W5 T U @" _
resistance at this point. {" @, f& `4 a: j
39 and 40: 40 is a number referred to many times in the Bible. The children of
" b9 n) s' y4 X; k9 vIsrael wandered 40 years in the wilderness. The food lasted 40 days.
+ l: i9 {* f6 r& M40 equals 3-1/3 years. 7/8 of 45 is 39-3/8. Forty is 1/9 of a circle. All
/ g) C# h3 o9 D" a- g# qof this makes these numbers important for time periods and resistance 4 L; Z8 B; ~5 }1 f, J% c2 j
levels on price.
- u( D3 v0 a7 w# l+ o42: is the next important number for resistance in Time and Price. It is 3½
) g( u. L2 N n& n2 g. }- K/ b3 gyears of time or 1/2 of a 7-year cycle. Also, 42½ is the half-way point 2 q( w. g: u" }0 y6 C4 b
between the square of 6 and the square of 7.
; @, y0 S6 X! S |* u3 _45: This is the master of all numbers because it contains all the digits from P5 v3 {) r( k/ p+ i( _) f5 F
1 to 9. The 45° angle divides the 90° angle in half, making it an % C1 I# ^" @7 W5 F/ U- d
important gravity centre. It is 1/8 of 360 and 5 times 9. Fast moves
]5 y( N2 `2 m- zup or down often occur in the 45th month. On any kind of chart that " W% p; O& ]$ v; U2 D1 j1 }
you make up with squares, you will find that 45 will come out on the 8 |! n' ]! L, H% o9 N
45° angle or a 90° angle or an angle that is the equivalent of these * A& d1 `# s$ h1 C* B
angles. Notice how 45 comes out on the square of 9, the square of 20
$ D; g( k N- d3 ]. ?: r) nand the square of 12, all proving that 45 is a Master Number. Use 45 9 U$ N% w, i0 ?$ f5 z: ~9 d, O
in every way possible for measuring Price, Time, Space and Volume " b5 T4 l( @% Q3 G
movements.
( F8 d! ^6 P) C; N- w8 ~* w, ^48 and 49: are strong and important numbers for changes in trend. 49 is 7 times ! k' Z3 P2 w0 w# o, X
7, or the square of 7, and 48 is 4 times 12, or the end of the 4th year. # C- ] p- `3 s! T/ O0 p
On a decline to 49 to 50, a stock often meets resistance and has a good & R' q1 B! Q- W/ t% e+ I, \; ^
rally from this point. The same with a stock on an advance to around ; }+ P8 i% k. v8 b8 k) z
49 to 50, meeting resistance around this point and reacting to 45 + ?/ \, Y/ o4 ~/ S0 d; k: Y
anyway.6 X0 c" S( `3 F7 c
50: is important because it is one-half of 100. If we add 5-5/8 to 45, we ; }! o6 }5 w( t% x
get 50-5/8.. ` U- F+ [ i; {. ~7 }
52: This number has some importance because there are 52 weeks in a / p* {' v9 r' X9 F0 ~
year and 51-7/8 is one-seventh of a circle of 360°. It is 4-1/3 years. + H, i! L8 y: N* x" H' K
52½ is the half-way point between 45 and 60, which makes this
, k, M0 P0 ]4 ^ [8 @1 k4 |important to watch for resistance./ L6 Q- G# N( h2 Y9 N
56 and 57: These are very important because 56¼ is 45 plus 11¼ or the half-way : B: |/ U/ F4 W0 m8 ~' k
point between 45 and 67½. 56½ is the half-way point between 49 and
+ G' f( q6 k T. K- `+ B- ~64.
+ A1 l, e2 u5 T1 p; K60: This is one of the very important numbers to watch for resistance. It
% T& ?( {1 u' S6 m3 M' Wis an important time period because it equals 5 years in time or 1/2 of
3 _5 @8 ~, s2 p6 w7 V$ f2 Vthe 10-year cycle or 1/4 of a 20-year cycle. It is one of the most P& f% E, X/ D6 h* Y
important time periods after 45 to 49. 60 is 1/6 of the circle. Here 7 k+ N1 Z" J- j: L) e% S
again we use the rule of 3, multiplying 20 by 3, we get 60. 60 is 1/3 ) J' A: Z" L$ H. B8 o2 m/ `3 k+ R5 }
of 180 and the halfway point between 45 and 75. Watch stocks that : t' K; j7 P4 O4 {' ]- `9 i
advance to around 60 or decline to around 60. If they hesitate several ! j3 h w! J/ g* f2 U" R) F
days, weeks or months, you will know that they are meeting resistance % A E, ~7 R$ P7 M( d$ E
at this point and a reverse move will occur.9 e/ s8 ]: J, `
63 to 64: 62½ is 5/8 of 100. 63 is 7 times 9. 64 is the square of 8, and is 5-1/3 $ J+ o8 o( O. H7 h% J; z+ M. z
years, and the next important point to watch after 60.
1 S0 \& | y; n% l66 and 67: 66 is 5½ years or 5½ times 12. 67½ is 45 plus 22½ or 3/16 of a circle.% f3 v( d1 \0 W0 T, Y9 `
70 to 72: The number 70 is referred to many times in the Bible. It is three score % ~. [: ?8 L, _6 K$ z! s" Y
years and ten, the allotted span of the life of man. 70 is 7 times 10;
0 Y; P& S/ t4 A; T1 x7 G3½ times the 20-year cycle. 72 is 6 years and 72½ is the halfway
- M) b6 `6 k1 q3 N1 fpoint between the square of 8 and the square of 9. 72 is 1/5 of 360. It ! d- ^4 i o9 Q) t, `& R# c, N/ l
is also the square of 12 and a very important time period.* ^- }. Y6 n3 F, ]0 E) H3 d
78 to 80: These are all important because 78-3/4 is 7/8 of 90; 80 is 4 times 20 4 |' T3 F& `. p: }& N' w
and twice 40. 80 equals 1/18 of 360° circle and is 4/5 of 100. The , p! r: p J( d$ B- X1 v
square of 9 is 81. Great resistance occurs around these price levels,
* y+ s$ r: V6 A, @% Band the endings and beginnings of cycles take place around these ! e9 P; a) b, l) E
months as you will find by looking them up on your charts.* J; ~# _) t5 D( d' H2 Q
84 to 85: Strong resistance levels, because 84-3/8 is 15/16 of 90 and 84 is 7 x6 ]3 s7 i4 [/ Q+ e) J
times 12 and equals the 7-year cycle. At this point, the greatest
8 \9 w3 w% e" R) cresistance is met before a stock reaches the 90th month or a price of 8 F- c. m( L4 |! |% V* o: ]
90. After it breaks under 90, it is the first important resistance level
3 ?, I, H9 Z" j3 v& m; abelow 90.! O- R0 B! ?( ~8 ~7 R# i5 Q; C/ Z( A
89 and 90: 90 is one of the strongest points of all because it equals a vertical V5 ^9 t) f _8 f8 L" z# h! D
angle and represents 1/4 of the circle. 90½ is the half-way point ' b) M. l3 O1 A# q
between 81 and 100, the square of 9 and the square of 10. In active
' U1 n: s" p* X5 _% p! I2 X9 x( [0 i# Omarkets, moves straight up and straight down occur when the 90th
3 z% z" E0 P) T6 `month, 90th week or 90th day is reached. The 90th month is the most
3 g7 w( ^( n/ N9 O( }" R) wimportant, but the 90th week is also quite important.. w" o. r5 b' I/ ?% I
You should always watch the 89th month for tops and bottoms and
4 N2 a: m; b6 N/ rimportant changes in trend. Many important campaigns begin and end
* \9 T- |% Y* {" i: G6 _ zin the 89th month; some run to the 91st month. Note U.S. Steel
/ A: V* s& a! N2 d' cmonthly 1915 to 1916 and see what happened around the 89th to 90th ( S& [+ z, u4 H- r! i
months.
1 F. N! V! [# o4 X% ^$ ROn the daily chart the change often comes on the 92nd to 93rd day, 7 B$ E+ S+ Q3 E' B) q- x$ Y
but a movement often runs to around the 98th day before an important
- A% T, R& {: W# s% |change. It is important to watch this point on a daily chart.
) g& f- R7 ^. i) \7 u95 to 96: This is 8 times 12. 95-5/8 is 90 plus 5-5/8 and quite a strong ( N! s% m' `3 I/ a/ o. x
resistance level for price and time changes. When an important time
8 s& g [' J+ K" dperiod comes out on the 96th to 98th month, you will often find an
Q( ?: k" `$ A) S- @3 dimportant change in trend because this is 8 times 12 and starts the 9th - [% T! w9 d- B# f& `
year. The 9th year is always important and marks the ending of
0 A* D+ T6 [& k* ?important campaigns with extreme high or low prices.
. R, \" M3 @; b- d5 u9 pStocks often advance to 95 to 97 and fail to make 100; then they often ) D- j5 Q/ B& |0 e4 U1 Q& J
decline to 97 to 95 and meet strong support, rally and cross 100 again.
2 U' w8 a7 c* E99 to 100: Important because 100 is the square of 10. 99 is 11 times 9. 100 is a
' k, u- T; L2 \8 C( `- k6 Z- ^8 O) ?psychological number for the public to buy and sell, or to hope for
9 A1 Z1 c# Z8 s1 D+ Fprices to reach. Stocks often go to 99 and fail to make 100 and often % P8 J& l& W: s, `, |( \" s6 a
decline to 99 and then start up again.3 b8 n, f+ B; V6 s$ F. a# ]
Study all of these important squares and gravity centers or half-way points and the 7 _8 n! K+ w7 M; R9 N8 v$ z# N
squares of numbers above 12, as shown on the 360° Circle Chart. All of these * T3 W- l3 a$ _% Y1 C
mathematical points will help you to determine changes in trend and resistance
