18: An important number for resistance in Time and Price because it is
; H' O! n8 s5 G: J) \twice 9, 1½ times 12, 1/20th of a circle.

22½ and 24: 22½ is 1/16 of a circle, 1/2 of 45. The reason why stocks often make
; m8 } J1 h7 d8 N; \3 Ztop or bottom in the 23rd month is because the angle of 22½° comes

! K3 ~' ^$ k+ `24 and 25: These are very important because 24 is twice 12 and 25 is the square 7 W! \3 ~5 f% g6 Y# e

26: When you consider the square of 4, which is 16, and the even square
9 L7 B" _8 z+ y9 vof 6, which is 36, the half-way point between them is 26, which is
! O1 X$ h% I5 w5 Z( |3 B$ T6 m: Z, Ssometimes an important resistance point for Time and Price.
* ]5 {* k; f) ?: ]/ H5 K27 and 28: Important tops and bottoms often come out around 27 to 28 months, : C% W! w& k! K' F' P5 S8 V
and major or minor campaigns end on this time period. The reason for , z8 Z1 t/ g! ?( z) a5 z8 s
this is that 4 times 7 is 28 and that 28 is 2-1/3 years. Three times 9 is ) x# z+ E: [" @4 A N7 e# _
27 and anything that comes out on multiples of 3 is very important,

9 A( o+ A2 [6 E2 H" Q6 D30: Any half-way point or gravity centre is also important. Therefore, 30,

Because 30½ is the half-way point between 25, the square of 25, and / n- U+ c, ^( l# L/ P

34 to 36: 33¾ is 3/4 of 45. You will recall that the bear campaign which ended

& o- c4 {; c# t0 ^# |# kimportant to watch for changes in trend around the 34th to 36th
' K# V) a- Y% M* E) `$ fmonths. 36 being the square of 6 makes this a strong resistance point. ! i5 V2 r9 T3 B2 y |2 K
Three times 12 or the end of the 3rd year is another reason for strong . U( D, T. z; ~+ w
resistance at this point.
8 W) n& K w) ]# v/ S& |% w39 and 40: 40 is a number referred to many times in the Bible. The children of 3 D* `7 l9 t' }
Israel wandered 40 years in the wilderness. The food lasted 40 days. 3 w/ k/ x6 h' \# o! R9 k" D+ \4 `6 x
40 equals 3-1/3 years. 7/8 of 45 is 39-3/8. Forty is 1/9 of a circle. All
n) p" u* `, [# V% }5 Cof this makes these numbers important for time periods and resistance 1 |5 ]4 m" w- Y5 n( {
levels on price.
$ q8 P1 y' g& M3 ~2 C42: is the next important number for resistance in Time and Price. It is 3½ 0 w0 g' R9 |5 `1 ?/ I, X! d
years of time or 1/2 of a 7-year cycle. Also, 42½ is the half-way point 9 m3 w* \+ H: d% h8 @& Z
between the square of 6 and the square of 7.
7 j4 q9 t( v/ [+ N+ P. S45: This is the master of all numbers because it contains all the digits from 6 Q- _3 }- q7 h1 u
1 to 9. The 45° angle divides the 90° angle in half, making it an % m3 B, A/ [0 m8 B
important gravity centre. It is 1/8 of 360 and 5 times 9. Fast moves ' j; B$ }' D+ b2 {' t" n
up or down often occur in the 45th month. On any kind of chart that
" ]/ O$ r7 w8 h' M1 g1 ryou make up with squares, you will find that 45 will come out on the
0 \0 I7 E, F G3 I! b* L45° angle or a 90° angle or an angle that is the equivalent of these 3 U* ~1 l/ h0 m& S
angles. Notice how 45 comes out on the square of 9, the square of 20 6 J3 m- Q9 W! b; L- m; @, f# K
and the square of 12, all proving that 45 is a Master Number. Use 45
0 |& e" { C3 V; R* g" u3 ?in every way possible for measuring Price, Time, Space and Volume 6 G4 d) U/ m' A
movements.( X3 }7 b# q) r v9 ]) s$ C4 U
48 and 49: are strong and important numbers for changes in trend. 49 is 7 times $ c+ p$ v/ l4 n; X& G$ m8 D# G$ K$ v- W
7, or the square of 7, and 48 is 4 times 12, or the end of the 4th year.
3 ]! d; U0 h0 Q* x. ^On a decline to 49 to 50, a stock often meets resistance and has a good
! e2 C( E: |1 h1 Z y' Frally from this point. The same with a stock on an advance to around 6 L- O7 ?5 U! u
49 to 50, meeting resistance around this point and reacting to 45 ) @; D4 w% O5 [/ H8 a' o; Q7 E! A5 m
anyway.
6 a4 s; Q; r4 n: I. f1 o) Y50: is important because it is one-half of 100. If we add 5-5/8 to 45, we ( } A- G0 I1 m; m% x& c7 N
get 50-5/8.
2 {: a; N) D+ f* Q* a" M* U52: This number has some importance because there are 52 weeks in a / t- ~9 [5 C; |7 J! ?6 R1 d& J9 j$ B
year and 51-7/8 is one-seventh of a circle of 360°. It is 4-1/3 years. 9 D# N( N# i" r/ s; g3 Q) ]
52½ is the half-way point between 45 and 60, which makes this 6 w2 g/ ` _5 Y/ o) Z
important to watch for resistance.6 {( v# X9 V- p. D0 _
56 and 57: These are very important because 56¼ is 45 plus 11¼ or the half-way
& O$ \1 d6 G' F1 f$ Zpoint between 45 and 67½. 56½ is the half-way point between 49 and
% D. T# w, ^9 r64.
+ E% v5 L# f- S* M s60: This is one of the very important numbers to watch for resistance. It
- _& L; n Q z- @is an important time period because it equals 5 years in time or 1/2 of & Q1 K2 O+ p; P5 Z% k/ y0 L) o
the 10-year cycle or 1/4 of a 20-year cycle. It is one of the most
: w; g3 Y- g3 f2 \8 M c1 t timportant time periods after 45 to 49. 60 is 1/6 of the circle. Here ) }) G6 Z1 H6 k" c* K; T
again we use the rule of 3, multiplying 20 by 3, we get 60. 60 is 1/3
' s+ _% p5 X7 c0 L! U: kof 180 and the halfway point between 45 and 75. Watch stocks that
% E* \/ p) m- s$ T+ z. O; Y9 tadvance to around 60 or decline to around 60. If they hesitate several # s4 U" G2 [$ v& Y2 i1 U0 L
days, weeks or months, you will know that they are meeting resistance 3 z" U1 a4 I# o5 z& z6 I" l. e/ O
at this point and a reverse move will occur.
. s% z( z' ~! I! D$ ~63 to 64: 62½ is 5/8 of 100. 63 is 7 times 9. 64 is the square of 8, and is 5-1/3
( z6 k$ T1 j @4 \$ Syears, and the next important point to watch after 60.
9 [1 y+ K8 [& y/ z1 d+ N W% a66 and 67: 66 is 5½ years or 5½ times 12. 67½ is 45 plus 22½ or 3/16 of a circle.' J/ e3 E( @. }* c9 f* K1 Y! M
70 to 72: The number 70 is referred to many times in the Bible. It is three score / w/ w# X+ h, `& V9 i
years and ten, the allotted span of the life of man. 70 is 7 times 10; ( b( [7 s+ s; V
3½ times the 20-year cycle. 72 is 6 years and 72½ is the halfway X. t9 r3 y3 h5 a
point between the square of 8 and the square of 9. 72 is 1/5 of 360. It
% t% r" X) P0 E$ P1 v% S0 o8 S/ [is also the square of 12 and a very important time period.$ U1 ~" J8 @4 Y$ k) N
78 to 80: These are all important because 78-3/4 is 7/8 of 90; 80 is 4 times 20 5 n/ t) m& g: C" r6 Z! U
and twice 40. 80 equals 1/18 of 360° circle and is 4/5 of 100. The : `$ F" A' B* Z6 C c0 u; x& I! q
square of 9 is 81. Great resistance occurs around these price levels, * S) T4 X1 `7 s* G2 T. C) K( |3 L, \
and the endings and beginnings of cycles take place around these
) m! ^' {. F. V3 u3 \/ F! u/ [2 _months as you will find by looking them up on your charts./ ^9 k( i G7 s: S8 `! r% @2 j1 B% w& G( _
84 to 85: Strong resistance levels, because 84-3/8 is 15/16 of 90 and 84 is 7 * h/ r4 v/ |, _5 A# {
times 12 and equals the 7-year cycle. At this point, the greatest 8 w8 m! p, |& |! J1 f
resistance is met before a stock reaches the 90th month or a price of 8 g8 o- G; i# t2 `6 J
90. After it breaks under 90, it is the first important resistance level ( W. I% t" H1 b$ d7 D% m( S% X
below 90.
" x {, [% N$ h' W89 and 90: 90 is one of the strongest points of all because it equals a vertical : X4 p6 G1 G: m5 X0 n: _5 D2 ^* M. x
angle and represents 1/4 of the circle. 90½ is the half-way point
: L! J4 L' c3 k; W8 s) b: Dbetween 81 and 100, the square of 9 and the square of 10. In active
6 L$ W. @! u& umarkets, moves straight up and straight down occur when the 90th & J4 p" u! y# T S: w- n' B7 L
month, 90th week or 90th day is reached. The 90th month is the most
w) H6 M3 {! R8 T0 M1 @4 y; pimportant, but the 90th week is also quite important.
0 e0 q" g( G5 LYou should always watch the 89th month for tops and bottoms and : L" c- E0 l$ B. ]
important changes in trend. Many important campaigns begin and end 6 z5 @& \- w% U3 H/ g" ]/ F& s
in the 89th month; some run to the 91st month. Note U.S. Steel 8 `" n a9 {( {
monthly 1915 to 1916 and see what happened around the 89th to 90th
& J- t0 E) d/ I- y: m8 C4 C1 H/ ^; R: hmonths.! S$ d" e5 p( G& \* W
On the daily chart the change often comes on the 92nd to 93rd day, / X. w9 r4 K0 V0 `( e, @
but a movement often runs to around the 98th day before an important
0 O, M: i* S+ W; xchange. It is important to watch this point on a daily chart.& ~5 O2 T7 b( v' |$ R4 z
95 to 96: This is 8 times 12. 95-5/8 is 90 plus 5-5/8 and quite a strong
0 J! I' `; _8 j/ |3 N) b0 w6 l' \resistance level for price and time changes. When an important time $ X$ ?2 f# ^4 I+ w& H
period comes out on the 96th to 98th month, you will often find an
) E3 s/ _" c8 [& I: u# Oimportant change in trend because this is 8 times 12 and starts the 9th ( J% a1 P+ Z+ O% a5 j
year. The 9th year is always important and marks the ending of s) @4 P1 ?8 ]* |; M
important campaigns with extreme high or low prices.
4 u7 P+ t0 m; U- Y* N* @! k H3 T, yStocks often advance to 95 to 97 and fail to make 100; then they often 1 ?+ T6 k o' W0 U- A; Y+ g- s: ~
decline to 97 to 95 and meet strong support, rally and cross 100 again./ G. |; A |4 V
99 to 100: Important because 100 is the square of 10. 99 is 11 times 9. 100 is a
7 `, o% n7 q$ [% [psychological number for the public to buy and sell, or to hope for * X P+ E; h- W2 J8 D
prices to reach. Stocks often go to 99 and fail to make 100 and often / S# t* [$ k; b
decline to 99 and then start up again.

1 v0 ?$ S: i! N$ xsquares of numbers above 12, as shown on the 360° Circle Chart. All of these & @4 ]6 }8 i7 z4 e
mathematical points will help you to determine changes in trend and resistance
