Many thanks for your interesting post in defence of George Bayer over William D. Gann. However, please find below the opposite viewpoint, that has been expressed by Gann-enthusiast James Smithson., K; P4 p7 o, U( F9 ~( }

opinion on him. However, I was not impressed with Bayer's writings.

In one of Bayer's books (I think it was "George Wollsten: Expert Stock And Grain
$ v% I3 H' l# z: R" [) yTrader", written in 1946) Bayer actually mentions Gann. Indeed, I believe that,
* W! ~- ]* e+ C6 vfrom examining all of Bayer's books, he had a burning desire to emulate Gann;, |. b$ B# B# y
particularly in terms of using astrology as a means of forecasting the financial
( [, X7 I; k" G; B2 bmarkets and highlighting the esoteric wisdom of the Bible. However, as stated; X5 H" a. r) [
above, it is my opinion that after carefully examining astrological influences/ d3 O* i- \; c" Q$ S; l
on the stock and commodity markets over many years, Gann discovered the true
4 o4 |; q1 |0 S+ j1 z6 qprinciples of astrology and he subsequently discovered some corroboration of' {3 r2 D( ^$ w( G
these in the Bible. In contrast, it is my opinion that although George Bayer/ d- P7 ^0 ?, J& T0 n; |7 z! j0 Z
similarly examined astrological influences on the stock and commodity markets,
+ Y: g3 c! I1 che failed to identify the true principles of astrology. Nevertheless this did
# n0 P1 m5 s: S) Vnot stop Bayer from writing numerous books on employing astrology as a trading' H+ q1 e, O, H* k8 ^6 j
tool and from publishing various forecasts of the financial markets.

superficial similarity to the subject matter of Gann's writings, have little

true principles of astrology.

I therefore recommend that you do not purchase any of George Bayer's books.

! W, G2 s7 h9 FIn general, I would caution you not to waste your and money examining the1 Y. ?: [3 W& X: J: p' f
writings of failed Gann students (whether these Gann students are dead or
7 X0 @" f7 u/ e* a3 X% jalive), because these false prophets are merely selling their own incomplete
