Many thanks for your interesting post in defence of George Bayer over William D. Gann. However, please find below the opposite viewpoint, that has been expressed by Gann-enthusiast James Smithson.

As you may know, George Bayer had quite a lot in common with William D. Gann.

forecasts on the financial markets.

Some years ago I examined all of Bayer's books, which allowed me to form an1 ?$ ~7 i/ p, G
opinion on him. However, I was not impressed with Bayer's writings./ l5 r/ O5 n9 H5 U9 ]1 k* k4 A8 o

In one of Bayer's books (I think it was "George Wollsten: Expert Stock And Grain6 S, d N/ A7 s3 l7 `$ s' p2 e

from examining all of Bayer's books, he had a burning desire to emulate Gann;

' b& x% P2 {/ m4 t' H0 y& i4 @1 O, Pabove, it is my opinion that after carefully examining astrological influences7 x! Y6 z6 K- u. X
on the stock and commodity markets over many years, Gann discovered the true, u9 W7 p8 K9 M/ A7 f
principles of astrology and he subsequently discovered some corroboration of4 J1 c2 J- b8 t, ^+ y& F b2 k _
these in the Bible. In contrast, it is my opinion that although George Bayer* d/ T) |) f& O) x+ \" C
similarly examined astrological influences on the stock and commodity markets,, K# L) }5 a9 A, v1 ]: b( Z+ ^1 B& \5 ]
he failed to identify the true principles of astrology. Nevertheless this did

tool and from publishing various forecasts of the financial markets.

However, it is my considered opinion that George Bayer's books, despite their

I therefore recommend that you do not purchase any of George Bayer's books.( ?4 F& f8 |5 ]9 c. p
Indeed, I recommend that you should merely skim any of Bayer's books that you
