  B! G& g2 A1 s5 a/ x/ U　　8月13日报道 据美国《华尔街日报》13日消息，8月12日，世界贸易组织(WTO)出台了长达460页的对美国图书、音乐和影片的在华版权保护问题的裁定，允许莱坞电影制作人、视频游戏设计者以及音乐家等以更低廉的价格、通过更好的销售渠道出售自己的作品。

　　同时，此次裁决允许中国保留了两家国有电影院公司，中国对外国电影进行一定程度审查的权利也得到了保护。据报道，中国可能就此裁定提出上诉

“China will evaluate the WTO ruling, while not ruling out the possibility of appealing that ruling,” Commerce Ministry spokesman Yao Jian said in a statement on the agency’s Web site today. The nation “regrets” the decision, Yao said.
President Barack Obama’s administration secured its first trade victory China when the trade organization said the limits violate global commerce rules, in a decision released yesterday. WTO judges largely sided with a U.S. complaint that accused China of making U.S. companies sell copyright-protected products such as magazines, CDs and video games through state- approved or state-run businesses.
8 Z5 Z3 d; z" \, g1 \! i0 j4 B“It’s potentially a very valuable ruling for U.S. companies,” said David Cohen, an economist with Action Economics in Singapore. “We have to see whether it can be enforced; I suspect there’s a lot of skepticism about that.”
The ruling, handed down in June and made public yesterday, also went against Chinese curbs on foreign producers of audiovisual goods that exempt domestic rivals.
- z% G% s; `% o5 l  S9 qThe U.S. film industry “won a major victory in its years- long battle to open the Chinese movie market,” Dan Glickman, head of the Motion Picture Association of America, said in a statement. The WTO decision “points a way forward that will begin to even the playing field in this important market.”
