Attached is AAPL for today. I am using the first trade date and market open

. All planets. Opening gave me only one harmonic, which I doubled to find the fit of the day. Gave me a nice countertrend play at the peak of the last hump. I'm still in 100 short. As for timing, the midheaven in NY was involved in the opening, so 30 degrees

d me nicely.

FYI for you guys- Jupiter and Chiron are now right on AAPL's natal moon if taken right ascension at the market open on 12-12-1980. That natal moon was making a seventh harmonic to Pluto. At 9AM sharp today, the ascendant trines the natal moon/Jupiter and midheaven falls into the 7th pattern with Pluto. Look at the drop!

Incorporating Harley's findings into my research, I am finding that ther use of the ascendant matters as does the EXACT time of that first trade. Harley used the market open and the ETF first trade for the SPY or 1-29-93. Now, you don't hear much of that. You usually hear the generic 4-21-82 futures date (which would then necessitate Chicago as the exchange in my opinion). I think he has nailed the true natal start that is best fit for the SPY tradeable cash index.

He recommends yahoo finance which gives the start date. If yahoo doesn't have it, market open or solar noon (in AAPL's case 12 sharp NY) may be good starts. I'm also playing with harmonics from the first trade to see what influnce they have.

Has anyone ever read the 'Delta Phenomenon'? With the long weekend I decided to look at this book again. I drew full moon lines on my daily of the SPY just for fun. I need to study it further to see if it offers any clues to predicting the market movement. It concentrates on the sun, moon and earth to establish the following cycles. If I miss any, I'll mention it later.

Cycles: 4x per day, every 4x lunar months, 1x lunar year, 4x lunar years.
There was also a tide chart, if you looked at a full moon day, then went back a full lunar year, the tide lines were identical. hmm

Interesting how if you just check off moon, sun and moon node, the forecast is fairly close - I still leave it default though.

I personally don't like the way the book is written, the guy seems to be trying to break his arm on shoulder and takes a long

to get to the point. The good news, it's not a very long book.

I have read the delta phenonomenon and also the modified version by Steve Copan called The Market Matrix which adds additional points to some of the cycles. I haven't tried the natal forecast with only the moon,sun,earth.

I am keen on tides and it was this very book which got me interested in the correlation of tide data and markets. Of course Gann was also interested in the use of tide data.

'Paradigm' is actually a novel a la Gann's 'The Tunnel thru the Air' but not quite as badly written. (just my opinion of course. :-) Anyway, the author lays out a complete trading plan using tidal data.
