标题: LOST MOTION
As there is lost motion in every kind of machinery, so there is lost motion in the stock market due to momentum, which drives a stock slightly above or be-low a Resistance Level. The average lost motion is 1-7/8 points.
When a stock is very active and advances or declines fast on heavy volume, it will often go from 1-7/8 points above a half-way point or other strong Resistance Level and not go 3 points. The same rule applies on a decline. It will often pass an important Resistance Point by 1-7/8 points but not go 3 full points beyond it.
This is the same rule that applies to a gravity center in anything. If we could bore a hole thru the earth and then drop a ball, momentum would carry it beyond the gravity center, but when it slowed down it would finally settle on the exact center. This is the way stocks act around these important centers.

因为在每种机械里都有空转，所以在谷物市场也有空转，由于动能使得合约
在阻力位略上或略下一点。平均空转大约在1-7/8￠。
当合约非常活跃，并且涨跌迅速，成交量很大时，它经常会走到中点或其他
强阻力位之上1-7/8￠，而不是3￠。
同样的规则适用于下跌。它经常穿过重要阻力位达1-7/8￠，而不是整整3￠。
这个规则同样适用于任何事情的重心。如果我们打一个洞穿过地球，然后丢
一个球，动能将带动它穿过重心。但是当它减速下跌时，它将最终恰好落在中心。
这就是谷物合约在这些重要的中心周围的活动方式。

2010.10.18-20日，上证都是非常明显的空转行情，一旦运动受阻，将会直泻下来,后果严重.

当价格穿越了重要的角度线之后,并没有发生跟进的走势,接着又朝着相反方向穿越角度线而恢复原来的趋势,这就是空转.

LOST MOTION IN SPACE
It is a well known fact in mechanics that it is impossible to make any kind of a machine that
will run without lost motion. Markets have a period of lost motion which amounts to between
2 and 2½ cents, which is taking up the slack. In other words, they will exceed the angle or the
main center at extreme points by 2 to 2½ cents; if they make 3 cents beyond the angle they
will go higher or lower.
When markets become extremely dull at low levels thru lack of buying power, which is the
same as lack of energy, they may fail to reach extreme points indicated, which would be an
indication of strength. The same would apply if they failed to reach main centers, showing
weakness.

LOST MOTION IN TIME
There is no such thing as slow motion in , but there is a transition period which amounts
to the same thing as lost motion in space movements. This varies according to the major and
minor cycles from 1 to 3 cents above tops or bottoms, Geometrical angles or price resistance
levels.

跳兄上传的《Pattern, Priace & Time : Using Gann Theory In Trading System》原著，俺早已经将其制作成清晰版並打印成册，有时间，就翻阅看看。只是俺的英文丢的差不多了，只好慢慢啃。

每当翻阅它时，感激之情油然而生！

俺看原著的体会之一：既能重新将英文捡起来，又会有意想不到的的收获！

俺看原著的目的之一：找到经典语言的出处，並慢慢地去感悟、体会作者的意境，加深自己的理解。

所以GANN设防了底线标准,这是实战的指导,也是区别正常的贯性力量与人为拉扯的标识,通俗地说,既对应诱空,也对应诱多....
