IMPORTANT NUMBERS FOR RESISTANCE - 12 to 1002 G9 K1 [7 R" w1 x$ t. N
11 to 12: This  is  an  important  point  for  resistance,  both  on  Time  and  Price, # C- }  z8 U, R! F# G: g+ L) W4 b# y- `
because  12  equals  12 months  and  11¼  is  1/32  of  a  circle  of  1/2  of ( u3 Q0 l; q% t
22½°.1 b- R/ _! F5 @# c# P6 B
15 and 16: The  next  important  resistance  point  is  16,  the  square  of  4.    15  is
2 o. |3 O% l* ^* j4 [important because it is 1¼ years.; v) ?$ f- v/ z* h# i; F9 X4 h, k2 \
18: An  important  number  for  resistance  in Time  and  Price  because  it  is
" o( n* F5 i* z5 Itwice 9, 1½ times 12, 1/20th of a circle./ p/ n9 m6 @) v2 e4 q* J! Q4 F
20½: The half-way point between 16 and 25, therefore important at times.
  l+ ~+ m5 n$ M2 w' [; Y22½ and 24: 22½ is 1/16 of a circle, 1/2 of 45.  The reason why stocks often make * D/ ^/ q; i  D5 O' A
top or bottom in the 23rd month is because the angle of 22½° comes
; t3 Y% w  n2 oout at this point.
) B$ h4 N/ I) g& l7 g2 z24 and 25: These are very important because 24 is twice 12 and 25 is the square # H3 _2 @# f5 x  Y
of 5 and 1/4 of 100.& {) l! u% Q' I: o, ~
26: When you consider  the square of 4, which is 16, and the even square
6 ~" \4 C  p% i7 w, i( e7 sof  6, which  is  36,  the  half-way  point  between  them  is  26, which  is
7 i  e1 P6 N' {$ O5 f/ @8 dsometimes an important resistance point for Time and Price.
2 Y' E; X2 E8 A4 ]! t27 and 28: Important  tops and bottoms often come out around 27  to 28 months,
; e2 J  P1 A! q! S* yand major or minor campaigns end on this time period.  The reason for   q( D) m5 F1 Z3 k# j6 ]: D4 e
this is that 4 times 7 is 28 and that 28 is 2-1/3 years.  Three times 9 is   M! {% b# ^) s/ t1 C
27  and  anything  that comes out on multiples of 3  is very  important, ) d/ b+ A; n9 \
because it is the first odd number that we can square, as the square of . g$ U" ?$ _5 X! U3 @! l
1 is 1.
# ^9 [- ^, o  x: H30: Any half-way point or gravity centre is also important.  Therefore, 30,
2 ?% b. }* p0 M+ I9 Cwhich  is 2½ years,  is  an  important  time period  for  changes  in  trend.  " ?2 M. X* T6 ~
Because 30½ is the half-way point between 25, the square of 25, and
/ @. N; P1 @* \- Z) ?36, the square of 6, it makes this period important.! J0 i) m7 b, u9 |
34 to 36: 33¾ is 3/4 of 45.  You will recall that the bear campaign which ended
4 w0 y" Y4 `; F, s9 kin  July,  1932,  was  34  months  from  the  1929  top.    It  is  always
$ I0 |) p& O5 b' Pimportant  to  watch  for  changes  in  trend  around  the  34th  to  36th
9 B7 z. y: u# p8 `months.  36 being the square of 6 makes this a strong resistance point.  
/ v6 e5 q: _, \4 U" r7 ~% U  s6 cThree times 12 or the end of the 3rd year is another reason for strong ) i. V. c% o) ~6 X  Y6 ?, s$ m
resistance at this point.
7 U3 S7 b9 l; l# l, W39 and 40: 40  is a number  referred  to many  times  in  the Bible.   The children of ( |2 Z$ h+ a; b6 z
Israel wandered 40 years in the wilderness.   The food lasted 40 days.  
9 [- Q0 }, D# D2 B9 _$ |- K40 equals 3-1/3 years.  7/8 of 45 is 39-3/8.  Forty is 1/9 of a circle.  All
% V: ^' u  ~+ F- T& kof this makes these numbers important for time periods and resistance 1 Z5 y5 I0 X  u$ S2 \
levels on price.
( T; G) I9 ?$ e# m, H( t. x42: is the next important number for resistance in Time and Price.  It is 3½
1 }  [( ]' D. E$ P2 M  Qyears of time or 1/2 of a 7-year cycle.  Also, 42½ is the half-way point
0 N9 c( o, Z0 r( S9 p2 ]between the square of 6 and the square of 7.
& F8 i2 z% _! Y4 c+ V0 x; r. w45: This is the master of all numbers because it contains all the digits from
, r8 a0 M5 p. ?, R' C- P1  to  9.    The  45°  angle  divides  the  90°  angle  in  half, making  it  an 9 f6 Z% m( |5 z
important gravity centre.   It  is 1/8 of 360 and 5 times 9.   Fast moves
8 T, e& O+ N0 G/ t) uup or down often occur in the 45th month.  On any kind of chart that 7 K. u6 a1 f; Z" \! P8 I0 a- G' Z
you make up with squares, you will find that 45 will come out on the
& n8 ]4 S' O3 J8 r45°  angle  or  a  90°  angle  or  an  angle  that  is  the  equivalent  of  these
2 m% v% M2 U5 d. \& J6 Mangles.  Notice how 45 comes out on the square of 9, the square of 20
- q  c! B5 l! g( y& ~% \# _3 @2 sand the square of 12, all proving that 45 is a Master Number.  Use 45
, @$ ^: k$ r; J# Y! p0 b- jin every way possible  for measuring Price, Time, Space and Volume
, l' j& [) z. H5 W5 D( {* c- fmovements.
& _  }6 W9 X& U1 A( J7 F48 and 49: are strong and important numbers for changes in trend.   49 is 7 times 7 h3 Y' v8 k8 {" b
7, or the square of 7, and 48 is 4 times 12, or the end of the 4th year.  , `0 ^6 }* R- N1 b8 p0 @+ w( V
On a decline to 49 to 50, a stock often meets resistance and has a good , N, h% j' O" d
rally from this point.  The same with a stock on an advance to around
4 o+ O2 s0 d7 Q$ m* G" q- X49  to  50,  meeting  resistance  around  this  point  and  reacting  to  45 ) m# V$ A, I% `8 x
anyway.
8 A' l3 D( D) [  J8 W6 f50: is  important because it  is one-half of 100.   If we add 5-5/8  to 45, we
; y: x  }+ a- @& g! \6 lget 50-5/8.
0 B+ a1 \" L9 f, n% ~52: This  number  has  some  importance  because  there  are  52 weeks  in  a
# E# m7 u$ G3 v1 ?/ D4 Qyear and 51-7/8  is one-seventh of a circle of 360°.    It  is 4-1/3 years.  
, t% J% e) y0 r1 {# g52½  is  the  half-way  point  between  45  and  60,  which  makes  this
/ h4 Z' \( |: U9 gimportant to watch for resistance./ F  H6 d% @9 I; B- y+ P7 ?
56 and 57: These are very important because 56¼ is 45 plus 11¼ or the half-way
, S3 a) H) p! Y" ^point between 45 and 67½.  56½ is the half-way point between 49 and 1 S! X$ F- m. d6 ]& r0 W
64.' i* E- M+ h, W3 A5 ~! F
60: This is one of  the very important numbers to watch for resistance.   It
* o9 l! c, x. E% ~2 `is an important time period because it equals 5 years in time or 1/2 of 8 t/ V2 a$ g9 A$ b2 T
the  10-year  cycle  or  1/4  of  a  20-year  cycle.    It  is  one  of  the most
( e, e8 a, r3 x* Himportant  time periods  after 45  to 49.   60  is 1/6 of  the circle.   Here 3 a$ K3 m+ V& a5 G' H$ Q: I
again we use the rule of 3, multiplying 20 by 3, we get 60.   60 is 1/3 ) t0 t" `7 `/ n! p; S7 m( c
of 180 and  the halfway point between 45 and 75.   Watch stocks  that # `! O. t, k/ s4 P, p9 A7 n/ ]) x
advance to around 60 or decline to around 60.  If they hesitate several
. @$ n' N- o; M2 q3 Q5 I8 s- Idays, weeks or months, you will know that they are meeting resistance 2 X; E# H- Q* E! e# m. g. W
at this point and a reverse move will occur.
4 {4 f( q1 r+ Z) A) @+ {63 to 64: 62½ is 5/8 of 100.  63 is 7 times 9.  64 is the square of 8, and is 5-1/3
+ Q4 i- a2 z1 [7 l* r# E- Q+ B# U$ _years, and the next important point to watch after 60.0 l( s* r0 S! C4 q! X
66 and 67: 66 is 5½ years or 5½ times 12.  67½ is 45 plus 22½ or 3/16 of a circle.
- ^# u  k! N) Z  q& {- }  m- R" @70 to 72: The number 70 is referred to many times in the Bible.  It is three score
7 Q# n+ `, a, W  l+ f2 k( }- r, _8 Eyears and  ten,  the allotted span of  the  life of man.   70  is 7  times 10;
" j9 c9 T# I, U7 \% _3½  times  the  20-year  cycle.    72  is  6  years  and  72½  is  the  halfway 3 P# e; y/ N" ^; Q- u
point between the square of 8 and the square of 9.  72 is 1/5 of 360.  It 8 L& U$ p7 r1 `
is also the square of 12 and a very important time period.
* n3 M5 u6 k4 X2 T* Y+ f& Z6 L78 to 80: These are all  important because 78-3/4  is 7/8 of 90; 80  is 4  times 20 ) i; T- k5 S  O9 }: U6 c! h+ L
and  twice 40.   80 equals 1/18 of 360° circle and  is 4/5 of 100.   The 7 G1 I# f9 h) Z+ P, J, f; p/ O3 o
square of 9  is 81.   Great  resistance occurs around  these price  levels,   K* d2 @6 F/ D* T/ [
and  the  endings  and  beginnings  of  cycles  take  place  around  these
$ v4 [# k$ L) Q6 Pmonths as you will find by looking them up on your charts.
, F" b0 T( W' H% {7 z5 d& p84 to 85: Strong  resistance  levels,  because  84-3/8  is  15/16  of  90  and  84  is  7
2 t% d  l, ?( b( r2 ~4 |times  12  and  equals  the  7-year  cycle.    At  this  point,  the  greatest * _( M2 U6 i* `9 w5 Z6 @$ W
resistance  is met before a stock  reaches  the 90th month or a price of " i0 G0 |0 L6 Z, {" ^! k. M- g
90.   After  it breaks under 90,  it  is  the  first  important  resistance  level
3 S' B1 T% c- \( U0 K' zbelow 90.
& S  i; q( e8 i" q  k6 n89 and 90: 90  is  one  of  the  strongest  points  of  all  because  it  equals  a  vertical , d# n$ T) e9 Y( F
angle  and  represents  1/4  of  the  circle.    90½  is  the  half-way  point # v" O3 t( E5 o
between 81 and 100,  the square of 9 and  the square of 10.    In active
8 `. o9 i: B/ U1 Rmarkets, moves  straight  up  and  straight  down  occur when  the  90th 0 [0 F' R7 j6 N8 Q3 Q, n
month, 90th week or 90th day is reached.  The 90th month is the most % n2 o$ D5 n8 N5 \
important, but the 90th week is also quite important.
9 a2 m2 Z. n$ U  ~0 _* QYou  should  always watch  the  89th month  for  tops  and  bottoms  and
1 a) R! g$ d+ {4 a' O: N1 ?8 S% g" g! yimportant changes in trend.  Many important campaigns begin and end 9 M3 Z% B) {; s" }
in  the  89th  month;  some  run  to  the  91st  month.    Note  U.S.  Steel - d" C% \- \! c  ~5 D9 X: G6 y
monthly 1915 to 1916 and see what happened around the 89th to 90th / [6 e' |1 w, O7 n  R% R
months.7 q  @; y0 z3 L- R' M
On  the daily chart  the change often comes on  the 92nd  to 93rd day,
6 m, T) r( i) }% A6 a9 W$ Xbut a movement often runs to around the 98th day before an important
3 q3 H3 a0 c& S6 w6 Schange.  It is important to watch this point on a daily chart.  e, Y3 x! J( R
95 to 96: This  is  8  times  12.    95-5/8  is  90  plus  5-5/8  and  quite  a  strong ( j0 f# T$ o8 q' [2 r
resistance  level for price and  time changes.   When an  important  time
0 n7 |1 Y( A/ p  \( R, aperiod  comes  out  on  the  96th  to  98th month,  you will  often  find  an
! ~$ P/ ?# g. F" s' _+ Z6 zimportant change in trend because this is 8 times 12 and starts the 9th 7 Z) y* e6 i9 `% C1 p- C1 T7 l: Y2 w
year.    The  9th  year  is  always  important  and  marks  the  ending  of # n$ A! x' G1 n& k. y9 z
important campaigns with extreme high or low prices.% m6 {0 Z& f; o6 N6 F+ g0 v
Stocks often advance to 95 to 97 and fail to make 100; then they often 1 U* [2 ]( n* ?- z% B
decline to 97 to 95 and meet strong support, rally and cross 100 again.
$ S9 D7 c; F/ T# a, I- ?6 `99 to 100: Important because 100 is the square of 10.  99 is 11 times 9.  100 is a
' e# X7 ]* z* [) _2 p) rpsychological  number  for  the  public  to  buy  and  sell,  or  to  hope  for 1 S) b) s8 K7 l- x$ L. `
prices to reach.  Stocks often go to 99 and fail to make 100 and often
5 D' O/ w$ ~3 T6 F( m3 b9 Odecline to 99 and then start up again.- e8 j1 t: T- p; n( C. h; w
Study all of these important squares and gravity centers or half-way points and the ; B8 Y6 g0 q& D+ S& R( L# x) |
squares  of  numbers  above  12,  as  shown  on  the  360° Circle Chart.   All  of  these
" w- ]3 H) x- u5 j* \mathematical  points will  help  you  to  determine  changes  in  trend  and  resistance 1 \9 n, }; O' T; Q3 \$ E" ~% q
points.: K- H6 R, W. e4 n6 ~+ h' _* _, l
