calculator runs from 0 to 144. If the price is above 144, you subtract 144

EXAMPLE: When May Beans is selling above 288, this is 2 squares of 144$ h4 x( O0 f$ I2 U+ P! E
up from 0 and you place the Master Calculator with 0 on 288 at the time of* Y5 C/ ^3 o! \5 Q! ~+ e
any important high or low levels and you get the correct position and the; Q. K  s4 n( Z! r
indicated trend on the Daily, Weekly or Monthly Charts.4 s/ r4 O1 @4 z, ?
The scale on each side running from 0 up to 4320 is for Cotton, Eggs and' t9 R0 \5 J+ M- b
other commodities. For Cotton on the Daily Chart using a 10 point scale/ u# _- c3 d: s( D" I
1440 is the top of the chart or 144 spaces up. For the Weekly Chart using a" k4 s0 b  `' X2 ?+ f
scale of 15 points to 1/8 inch the price at the top of the chart is 2160 and the
1 C0 f9 V- E, @second square is 4320 and using a scale of 30 points for 1/8 inch on the
+ d4 _) v0 q; D* }Monthly Chart, the top of the Master Calculator at 144 equals the price of, m! L6 j$ P0 v2 l& @! D

Using a 20 point scale the top of the chart equals 2880 and at 72 on the, d4 ]& c  s% Y$ L" U& u% x8 c, Y1 I
second scale up, 72 equals 4320.+ m3 y4 I( m& N% q
First it is always important to find out the price position in a square.
" E! V7 [+ u) uEXAMPLE: May Soybeans extreme high 436-3/4. This is 3 x 144 which is" j2 V3 j- M- g7 }
432 and 4-3/4 in the 4th square.
1 n& W& W2 X! i8 y1 tThe extreme low on cash soybeans is 44¢. Subtract this from 436-3/4 gives
1 @* H/ M# w6 S1 z+ ba range of 392-3/4 which is 2 squares of 144 and 104-3/4 over. The extreme
7 Y& H+ J) ?# i. K; {; Slow of May Beans is 67¢. Subtract this from 436-3/4 gives 369-3/4 and 81-1 B% }( p% f, _. x* |8 ^* v
3/4 in the 3rd square. Note that 81 is 9 x 9 and an important resistance level.

All of the 45 degree angles from important tops and bottoms have been6 ~9 P% [, c( J- K1 m% g& M5 ~
placed on this chart and the 45 degree angles in green from 0 have also been

At 305 the 2 x 1 angle which moves down 2¢ per week from May, 1948: J0 W6 h- e/ q8 H" D
makes resistance at this price and the 2 x 1 from January 1948 extreme high9 b! x( ^7 J* S0 P3 t: Q' {
crosses at 307 making 304 to 305 the selling level. The monthly chart also; T5 o4 `& }# P' o4 B. G( `  r, y  ]& N
shows that when the price is below 299 and 295 before or after March 20,

Check all of the time periods on the monthly charts of high and lows and; U- ^; O8 U8 e1 r$ j) p
also on the weekly chart and you will see that between March 16th and 27th

By placing the Master Calculator on the highs and lows on the monthly and

practice with the Master Calculator you will soon learn to use it and it will) S$ `& {- V0 R% R1 N
not be necessary to put geometrical angles on your charts. However time  v3 z/ y& U8 G( F2 @
periods should all be kept up and you should check the Master Calculator to

By placing the Master Calculator on the daily high and low chart you can get
) j: r$ i0 A  W' c/ Zall of these positions correctly. You will note that March 17, 1952 the high, Z! d) E6 T# U! ^& a% q% ^# M
was 302 and the price declined to 281 on April 21st. This also makes March  ~1 V( O' a3 F% W9 |
17, 1953 important for a change in trend and April 2nd will be important
8 Z0 y" Q4 O# N/ ~+ K& C0 o' o# Dbecause it will be 4 months from the high of 311 on December 2nd.

用144在12章里有写把。好象GANN所说的Master Calculator是指144的平方图表。理由是一年是12个月，而且144的平方已经包含了1到144的所有平方数。
