   首先要最大如何应用价格的刻度。对于所有谷物和股票刻度是相同的。计算器的左边刻度是价格从0~144。如果在144上面，你就减去144然后将刻度放进正确的位置。

首先在正方形中找出价格的位置总是重要的。

现货大豆的极限低点是在44￠。从436.75上减去它，得到了一个392.75的价格区间。这将等于2*144+104.75。5月大豆的极限低点是在67￠。从436.75减去它等于369.75，它将在第三个正方形中的81.75。注意81是9*9，一个重要的阻力水平。

9 Q# T- X) L' o; }1 IFirst it is important to know how to use the scale for prices. The scale is the
4 M$ [. f# a1 X6 @same for grain, for all grains and stocks. The scale on the left side of the1 b) D" Q0 p6 U, F* ^% G7 I5 |
calculator runs from 0 to 144. If the price is above 144, you subtract 1444 k& B" E. g4 A+ m3 x1 R! O
and then place the scale in the correct position.
- Y& _  }& z* r1 W9 G8 rEXAMPLE: When May Beans is selling above 288, this is 2 squares of 144, j2 ^! z0 q# U5 c, v" V
up from 0 and you place the Master Calculator with 0 on 288 at the time of# X* K! S8 D/ F) ~( f* M  z) m
any important high or low levels and you get the correct position and the  A# q6 w1 U4 {* V0 E
indicated trend on the Daily, Weekly or Monthly Charts.
3 n" U- S9 @$ }$ i8 nThe scale on each side running from 0 up to 4320 is for Cotton, Eggs and$ j" g) d$ f. J' S
other commodities. For Cotton on the Daily Chart using a 10 point scale
0 u! W1 g. X! s8 _9 Q: A* \' z( ?3 W1440 is the top of the chart or 144 spaces up. For the Weekly Chart using a$ a! i9 E1 Q7 ~1 _5 c! T3 m2 k  E
scale of 15 points to 1/8 inch the price at the top of the chart is 2160 and the9 \8 P1 s5 z6 {
second square is 4320 and using a scale of 30 points for 1/8 inch on the/ x# D8 j$ q. Y  `* j& ^. y
Monthly Chart, the top of the Master Calculator at 144 equals the price of: p+ s1 _8 z" c+ C) i! ?# X4 N
4320./ {7 W# w# ], l. T4 E3 B" S0 J
Using a 20 point scale the top of the chart equals 2880 and at 72 on the
2 O- K: V  M* Q0 d. dsecond scale up, 72 equals 4320.
6 R. g3 M1 [! n1 ?* q' w$ rFirst it is always important to find out the price position in a square.
* f3 B( ?' _% r/ S# P* A) oEXAMPLE: May Soybeans extreme high 436-3/4. This is 3 x 144 which is  i5 ~/ p  l, u8 U) i8 x4 ~
432 and 4-3/4 in the 4th square.
% T* c8 {' D$ b5 ^$ Q/ CThe extreme low on cash soybeans is 44¢. Subtract this from 436-3/4 gives+ j& l( M5 L9 f# F
a range of 392-3/4 which is 2 squares of 144 and 104-3/4 over. The extreme/ ?6 N  p. R* ]0 a5 @1 B. \
low of May Beans is 67¢. Subtract this from 436-3/4 gives 369-3/4 and 81-
" W  `! d- O' q0 `+ H3/4 in the 3rd square. Note that 81 is 9 x 9 and an important resistance level.( M5 t4 K3 b7 n' I- c) w

At 305 the 2 x 1 angle which moves down 2¢ per week from May, 1948

shows that when the price is below 299 and 295 before or after March 20,

By placing the Master Calculator on the highs and lows on the monthly and* W! V5 ?: L% r% g
weekly chart you can see all of the indications as outlined above. After you
8 u* T4 |/ K1 M+ xpractice with the Master Calculator you will soon learn to use it and it will7 W2 k! [7 m+ ~4 w! V7 [
not be necessary to put geometrical angles on your charts. However time
( w9 Z( o, ~$ d1 l9 ]' [, {& {periods should all be kept up and you should check the Master Calculator to/ V( h, Q7 U. h: v6 ]
see that you have not made any mistakes in putting on the time periods from% @# L* R3 ^9 g
previous high and low prices.

making it very important if the price should close at 299 or lower on March5 m! B& H$ r5 M

4 f% I3 L' C- `all of these positions correctly. You will note that March 17, 1952 the high

because it will be 4 months from the high of 311 on December 2nd.

用144在12章里有写把。好象GANN所说的Master Calculator是指144的平方图表。理由是一年是12个月，而且144的平方已经包含了1到144的所有平方数。
